The woman working there seemed absolutely out of line. I had placed a DoorDash order that included soup and a side of naengmyeon (cold noodles), but they marked the naengmyeon as out of order and substituted it with glass noodles. I don’t even like glass noodles, so I asked if I could change it to something else. I hadn’t requested a cancellation or anything — I was just trying to clarify the substitution. But while I was in the middle of explaining, she cut me off, completely ignored what I was saying, and just kept talking over me. Then she hung up on me. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was honestly shocked by the lack of class and customer service.
Probably best chicken soup place in the bay area

Expensive and sub par Korean food... There's a reason why I didn't really see Korean customers there.
bad service experience

Great chicken soup.
Worst seafood noodle ever. Quite bitter, non-fresh sea food.
And the service is really bad! Only one very unfriendly server.

Small, family-owned Korean restaurant located in a strip mall in Santa Clara, specializing in ginseng chicken soup. The chicken is stuffed with rice and cooked for several hours, then served in an individual-size clay hot pot. Chicken soup was delicious, and the ginseng flavor wasn’t over-powering. Service was fast and friendly. Large free parking lot.

Small family owned restaurant with small menu. Ginseng chicken soup is their signature offering, but we ordered the chicken katsu and the chicken noodles soup. Things are made from scratch as they should be. Chicken noodle soup was good, especially on a cold day.
A mid-60s gentleman was the waiter, buyer, and greeter. I suppose he can be gruff and rude if need be. He was nice and helpful to us in the old Korean grandfather kind of way.
Clientele is mainly Korean.
B N is nothing fancy but certainly authentically Korean.

Don’t go to this place if you don’t want to be treated by rude and unprofessional staff. I went to this place and waited at the door patiently. Then a couple cut the line and directly head to a table in front of us, the lady at the front desk just let them sit politely. So we thought that’s how you get a table at this place and also went directly to a table and ask her if we could sit there. She then yelled at us to wait. I said “you already have someone sit like this. Why this double standards???”. She responded with nothing so we left immediately. Very rude and bad services. Just don’t go there if you don’t want to pay for someone yelling at you. What a shame.

AVOID IF YOU CAN!!! ! Double-check your bill!
The food is okay but nothing special.
Service is very bad, the owner being quite rude and showing double standards.
They charge you MORE than the amount you write down, so be sure to verify your bill in your account!!!!

Still the best samgyetang in Bay Area. I've been coming to this place when I am craving for ginseng chicken soup (samgyetang). Portion enough for 2 meals for me. This place was packed during lunch time. The basic sam gyetang cost $27 plus tax plus tips. So be aware before dining here. Only has one server an elderly man who serve the whole restaurant, probably to keep it open as rent is expensive. But service is fast, no need to wait too long. In and out in 30-40 minutes if you are dining in. Don't compare to samgyetang in Seoul in price or quality as the airfare ticket cost way more than $35 ?

I like their chicken wings instead of the signature chicken soup. The wings are not over fried.

5 stars all the way!! Enjoyed this place since I moved to the Bay area. You must try their samgyetang they are pretty popular for this dish, but also try their fried chicken. Its really good.
I was pretty surprised their fried chicken was so good. They have plenty pf parking spaces. Usually they only have one server on the floor. When it gets busy, the service can get a bit slow, but its worth the wait. Definitely a must try place.
They have the best samgyetang in town.
