BB Brewing delivers craft beer that’s so good, it could turn a teetotaler into a hophead. I particularly enjoyed the flights—each beer was a delightful journey for the taste buds. The key lime pie beer was like sipping on a Florida vacation, minus the sunburn.
The atmosphere was perfect for chilling out and pretending you don’t have responsibilities waiting at home. However, here’s a pro tip: avoid sitting next to the bathroom. While the beer was fruity, the air had a certain… earthy undertone. Let’s just say it added a unique complexity to the experience, but not in the way I wanted.
All in all, it is worth the visit—just pick your seat wisely and maybe bring a scented candle, just in case. Cheers!
Matthew was fantastic! We had stepped away to order, and someone bussed our table while we still had drinks left over from our flight. Matthew, without hesitation was quick to replenish our flight! 10/10 experience after all. Ask for Matthew, he was attentive to our questions and has great customer service. We will definitely come back!
Came in about 50 minutes before closing and tried to order a flight, and was told that they no longer served flights which wasn’t a big deal. I ended up sampling two different 1/2 pours. Ended up at the game section and was in the middle of a game with friends when the power was cut by an employee 30 minutes prior to closing. Would not have been a big deal if the employee told us that they had to do it to close up, but was instead looked directly at and not even acknowledged. Honestly ruined the entire experience. Would probably never return.
Great place for room temperature beer. But location is pretty good
Wish there were a bit more food options
I liked this tap room, it actually looked pretty quiet from the street but was fairly busy once inside. It had a pretty modern vibe. There website is also pretty slick which I had checked out before visiting.
There are many different areas to sit at, bench tables, high tables, sofa etc.
The line to get beer was actually pretty long when I visited on a Friday night around 9pm or so. Flights were $25+ and there was a pretty impressive beer list. I did like the beers I tried, well brewed. Staff I interacted with were nice. Would recommend.
Nice open atmosphere and no blaring TVs. Beer list is heavy on the IPAs but I found a very good pilsner and their cocoa stout was also excellent. Menu is very limited to a couple of deep dish personal pizzas (feeds 2) and salads.
They suck no IC
One of my favorite breweries in the bay. We seem to always find ourselves here after going to Great America. Highly recommend. ?
Awesome spot with lots of different styles of beers. Omar's great - super friendly and knowledgeable about what they've got on tap. Pet-friendly patio on the side too.
Restaurantji Recommends
Tried to go here on a first date, and it was closed when we were showing up, then tried to go again a long time later and it was closed again. Very sad, I’ve been here not on a date and it’s been great, would very much recommend it!
Here’s a picture of us very sad that Barebottle was closed when we showed up the second time. Dating is tough enough already.
Fantastic beers, but rude and condescending staff. I’m not one to leave negative reviews but today’s encounter with both women running the counter today deserves it.
Great atmosphere and chill vibe - seems like a very “young professionals” vibe. The beer itself was a bit underwhelming. They do well with hazy IPA’s and hoppy pilsners, but every other style was not particularly impressive to me. They had a lager on draft - Audalicious - that was sour…I don’t know if it was an intended sourness or not. The beer descriptions are lacking so who knows? I also am not a fan of their flight setup. 5 pours of 5oz each for $25 - that’s basically $1 an ounce and that’s way too much for beer. Plus the flight holders were not very steady and my giant glasses wobbled around when I picked it up. It would be nice if they had glassware actually designed for flights - instead, the beertender is just eyeballing 5oz and I have to trust him. If I’m in the area again, I may give them another chance but I definitely won’t ever get a flight again
Loved it. I'm a regular at the Bernal (SF) location and was looking forward to this all day while working in Santa Clara for the day. It did not disappoint. Airy, friendly, great beers, and they even have empanadas to snack on!
Website for Santa Clara taproom says dogs allowed on outside patio under FAQ. As soon as we walked up to the entrance, there is a sign that says service dogs only. This should be clearly stated on your website otherwise we wouldn’t have made the trip with our dog. Disappointing and a waste of time.
