Bawarchi is now shut down. It's replaced by ambur biryaniz. They are running a 50% three day offer.
We ordered a biryani and it was the worst I ever had. No taste, lots of oil, clearly looked unhealthy.. We got a bit sick after having the food.. This is the last time I am eating here.
SantaClara one is great, polite and open to customize. If we ask them to make less spicy they accommodate request. Whereas Sunnyvale was great, after COVID guess management has changed and not humble people any more and don’t want to accommodate request even when I have asked them to make paneer butter/tikka masala little less spicy
If you want to eat the Worst biryani and Stale food, visit this place, and they won’t disappoint you. Cherry topping, you might face stomach issues after eating that stale food.
Placed a pickup order for chicken tandoori. When I opened the box with lot of appetite, I was very very disappointed with the quality of the food. It was almost raw. When we called and complained, they refused to refund and offered replacement. I wasn’t dare enough to try with them again. Couple of days ago tried their chicken dum Biriyani and it wasn’t good as well. Not a worth of our time and money to visit this restaurant again.
I live in lowa but never tasted such a worst biryani ever. If you like salty Biryani this is your go to place, don’t waste your money
Quality of their food was very poor. Chicken meat which they used in briyani was not fresh at all and tasted absolutely bad..
Excellent food..authentic Indian style food. Good service. One of my favorite indian restaurant in Santa Clara.
Ordered good amount of food and the food is really bad and so disappointed, food is too much salty, and the chicken biryani smells so bad and the chicken they used is bad. Ordered chicken Manchuria but received other item and it smells and tastes sooo bad .
Only to post this I have logged for reviewing after many years… ??? Not even one star ! We got Chicken biryani and goat biryani, GB was like hell with more salt & the taste was horrible and was given the last plate which looked so so dark !After having it I had stomach upset and I puked all which I ate and had a biggg nightmare. Only today I m feeling better so posting it !DON’T EVER ORDER HERE, Worst to the maxxxxx

Hour and a half wait for an order online .not cool
We ordered Pepper Gobi as a starter which was okay. Also ordered three different Biryanis: Paneer, Ulvacharu Paneer and Vijayawada Chicken. The veg options were good. The chicken one was hot and spicy. Liked it very much. These came with sides of Raita and Curry sauce.
Last time I ate Biryani from here I got a terrible throat infection and had several sleepless nights followed by 6days of anti-biotics. The chicken was poorly washed (had blood all soaked by meat of chicken and meat was red in color). And even before that when I ordered I had stomach and tootache problem. Another time I had ordered Ras Malai and it was sour. Their quality has terribly decreased. Don't eat from here anymore
I have ordered paneer biryani, paneer masala, navaratan korma, malai kofta, Chinese starters, gobi/paneer chilly, and there was not anything that was not delicious. I found the taste of curries best in the bay area. This is my fixed place for paneer biryani for the last 1 year.
Love the food! It's SO addicting. I have no clue what they put in it, but I will not rest until I can figure it out in my own kitchen lol, it's really that good ? In the meantime, I just order here lol. Fyi to those new to Indian cuisine or even occasionally indulge, this stuff was spicy when I first ordered it, even for a South Indian like me, so warning to those not used to it! Highly recommend if you want a challenege though ?I generally order Hyderabadi egg biryani (the ulavarcharu is good too, but I prefer the white rice in the former) or paneer biryani, masala tea and/or mango lassi. My fav combo!Main problem (why 4 stars instead of 5) - when ordering online, it lists MyMozo as the preferred service, but apparently they don't have the list of dishes I order. The charge goes through easily but the restaurant doesn't know what I ordered. So please change to DoorDash or something because it worked through there every time. Other thing would be that the service can be a bit...cold ? so I would tread carefully lol, be polite and they're generally chill.
