Good food, but needs to work on customer service. I walked into an empty restaurant and waited about 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge my presence and take my order as the employees were busy chatting in front of me.

Fancy new place, but tasteless Bagels and spread. I had to fight with the bagel to get a bite out. My mouth hurts right now...

I come get bagels here every week. Now why would I do that ? These are the BEST bagels I’ve had in the area.

My husband and I used to try a different bagel place each week when we first moved here trying to find the best one, and lucky you, you’ve found the winner.

The ingredients are top notch, they do not cut corners. I get a tomato on my sandwich and it’s heirloom. This is what you can expect from a fine establishment such as Boichik.

We ordered there and ate on the patio. I will be back!

The good:
So good! Soft, light bagels.
Staff is super friendly
Coffee (american drip) was tasty
Easy to get to and plenty of free parking.

Room to improve:
Lox and cream cheese was mostly cream cheese and just a little lox.

No inside seating. The patio is perfect on a lovely day. Not sure what they’ll do for rain.

Fresh baked challah would be nice. It looks like they bake challah only on Thursday and sell it for $12/ea till it’s gone or next week.

Boichik makes really good bagels and they have a ton of options for spreads and ingredients to turn them into bagel sandwiches if desired. Service was really quick around lunch time on a Sunday with tons of available parking and open tables to sit at.

Vegetarian options: The bagel sandwiches are completely customizable and there are a ton of vegetarian options.

Don’t like the texture of the bagel. It was heated for to-go and I ate it right away, it was not even warm and still pretty hard..

Perfect chew on the bagel with overly generous schmear - I had to scrape some off to eat.

I would give 0 star if I could, they really need to work on customer service and orgs. As some people mentioned here, when i walked in and started ordering, they don’t seem to welcome people and often give you a weird look and won’t give you a clear answer or not willing to answer if you have a question about menu. I asked which spread people often get with egg salads and they were giving me a weird look again and just said “i don’t know”. When I went there a month ago, they forgot drinks for my pickup order and they didn’t even seem to care to apologize when I reminded them i ordered drinks too. It seems like no one is training staffs for customer service. They should just bring kiosk devices in if they don’t want to deal with customers this much.

As far as I'm concerned, these are the best bagels in the Bay Area. I love the variety of options, both bagel and spread. My favorite is the pumpernickel caraway salt toasted with plain cream cheese, though the pumpernickel raisin is a close second. Service is always speedy and friendly.

The front of house is open to the kitchen, which is incredibly clean! These folks take obvious pride in what they do.

We usually pick up 4 bagels with cream cheese, and it's a smidge over $20 with a 20% tip. The prices are super reasonable, especially by Bay Area standards. We are customers for life and make a point to come here as often as we can.
