The coffee and all types of croissants are delicious. However, I tried the Tiramisu and it lacked flavor; it was a bit too sweet and had too much cocoa powder on top. I would recommend adding more espresso and more mascarpone to the recipe.

Finally found the croissant I’ve been chasing. I’m a croissant snob and I don’t say that lightly. Croissante clearly takes their craft seriously, using French flour and French butter, and it shows. The crust is crispy, evenly baked, and finished with a beautiful glaze. What I really appreciate is that it’s not overly flaky like Costco’s croissant (after reheating it) that explodes into a million crumbs the second you touch it. That said, Costco’s version does have a stronger butter punch, and I do wish this croissant had a deeper, more pronounced butter profile. But it’s almost perfect and the best I’ve had in California.

Inside, the croissant is soft, airy, and nicely layered, exactly what you want when you tear it open. Beautiful butter taste and smell but it could be more buttery!

The latte was excellent too, very fragrant, well balanced, with smooth milk microfoam and genuinely beautiful latte art.

I also tried the baguette and found it a bit too moist and dense for my preference. The cream cheese and fig baguette looked promising, but the cream cheese itself was almost flavorless and didn’t really add much to the bite.

This place gets extremely busy, so coming early is a smart move. One of the highlights was chatting with J, the baker, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer my very specific questions. That kind of passion and openness always elevates the experience.

New shop in Santa Clara. I had to try all bunch of treats, 4 plain croissants, a chocolate covered croissant, a few almonds croissants, their mango and strawberry croissants. I guess went a bit over. Anyway, we just got back from Paris over the holidays and would be a decent critique from here to there. I found the plain croissant quite good here. “The crunch test on the last video to the right”. very close, imo, with similar crunch , texture, and insides. But being biased, I still like Paris. Will have to try the American versions of what they had done with fruit croissants. I ll update once my family has a chance to rate as well. I did have their mocha and a thumbs 👍.
As always post wherever you end up. You never know until u do.

You guys need to have more than one register, totally a waste of time to wait for the folks in the front to finish when i already finished ordering.

Croissante was a lovely experience. The line was long, but moved fairly quickly. So, the wait wasn’t too bad. The staff were friendly, too.

For the food, it was all very delicious. There is a huge selection of baked goods, which made the whole experience pretty exciting. You can also order hot dishes as well. We got a burger and shakshuka. I appreciated that they packaged up the shakshuka so nicely to go.

The only downsides for me were the long lines, the slightly tricky parking, and the price. This isn’t going to be a budget brunch spot, but all things considered, it was worth it in my opinion.

I finally treated myself to Croissanté in Santa Clara, and honestly, the pastry work there is nothing short of a masterpiece. The level of lamination they achieve with their imported French butter is incredible—the crust shatters perfectly, giving way to a light, airy honeycomb center that smells like heaven. While the viral Cube Croissant is a visual marvel, the real magic is in the fillings; they are velvety, rich, and clearly made with high-end ingredients. Every bite of their sweet offerings, from the perfectly caramelized Kouign-Amann to the fruit-topped tarts, feels like a deliberate, indulgent luxury that justifies every bit of the hype.
The aesthetic of the bakery, with its sleek open kitchen and the aroma of fresh sugar and butter in the air, makes the whole experience feel like a trip to a high-end patisserie in Paris. Even though the price point is a bit higher than your average bakery, the sheer quality of the sweets makes it feel like a worthwhile splurge. There is a refined balance to their flavors—nothing is cloyingly sweet, which allows the richness of the French butter to really shine through. It’s the kind of place where you can taste the obsession with detail in every single crumb.

Definitely a place to stop by! The baked goods were absolutely delicious. My husband and I got a lot as it was our first time there.

Parking was good even though they were pretty busy. We got there around 7:45ish and the line was a bit out the door.

NOTE: if you have a hard time walking or getting around easily, maybe avoid the busy times. The lines and seating areas are pretty tight. Not easy to maneuver around even for abled bodied people.

The croissants weren't super flaky, more soft than other places were went to. Regardless, still very delicious!

My favorite was the spinach and artichoke danish, Strawberry blossom, and Croissant Plate!

Definitely will be back!

I had high expectations because of the long lines, but unfortunately the pastries were very disappointing.

Almond croissant – soft and bread-like, not flaky at all. No real butter flavor; it tasted like margarine with cheap vanilla powder instead of a proper almond filling.

Canelé – completely burnt and not edible. It was clearly baked at the wrong temperature; the outside was overdone without the correct caramelized texture.

Pain Suisse (vanilla) – this was just sweet bread, not brioche. Very few layers and barely any cream inside. It felt low quality and poorly executed.

Escargot pistachio / Pain aux raisins pistachio – extremely unpleasant in both flavor and texture, with no balance or refinement.

Overall, the pastries show a lack of proper technique, quality ingredients, and attention to detail. For a bakery that attracts long lines and premium pricing, the execution is far below expectations. This experience did not reflect the standards of a serious pastry shop, and I would not recommend it.

Best bakery I’ve EVER been to! Everything I’ve tried has been amazingly delicious. You can tell by both the aesthetics & quality of their goods that they really pay attention to detail & everything is crafted with love! It’s honestly better than the infamous Porto’s!

Lives upto its name. Its THE CROISSANT place to be at in the bay area. Some fun choices to select from and great tasting ones at that.

The signature coffee selection is interesting, it was great to see an einspanner latte, it was just too strong for my taste. People who love strong coffee will like it.

We tried the Almond Kun aman; its croissant but a little hard.. kind of a cookie/croissant hybrid. It was nice.

We even tried a cheese tomato croissant, you wont see the cheese but thats because its melted and melded with the croissant itself.

The mango croissant has rave reviews, but i found the mangoes too syrupy and sour. I will try the strawberry one next time because the cream and croissant was solid.

Giving this place a 4.5 ⭐️ only because i didnt like the mango croissant and the strong einspanner (definitely doesnt disqualify it, but there are nicer ones out there that this one has competition with that are better)

Line is crazy, and very unnecessarily long. You are expected to wait at least 30 mins whenever there is a line. Only one cashier who’s doing multiple things at the same time, holding up the line.
