It was great on my first visit. However, just okay on the second. I wasn't happy I got a dirty spoon on my second visit and was really displeased when the Hispanic looking guy tried to wipe it off with a napkin and hand it back to me... it had curry on it still... obviously not washed correctly. I will say it wasn't the Asian guy. He does a banged up job from what I can tell, but don't trust the other guy. I am now debating if I want to eat here again after seeing that.
I've been on the endless search for good Japanese curry since I travelled to Japan in 2018. It's hit and miss for most places but I was compelled by Curry Life because curry is the star of the show at this restaurant. I ordered the pork katsu curry (beef flavored) with rice, medium spice and I added the vegetable croquettes. The spiciness of the curry was just right and the sauce was perfectly thick. All around best curry spot in the entire bay. Great value, good portions and a laid back environment. Thai restaurant is a repeat favourite of mine with good consistency. Just wish it was open a little longer!
