"I really enjoy working at this hotel, especially during special events! Once you enter the front lobby, you can find The Atrium inside the Hyatt, which is a great place to grab cocktails, appetizers, burgers, and sushi. It's a favorite spot for diehard 49ers fans to gather and get into the game spirit. The atmosphere before and after a game is simply magical!"

Bought a $63 bottle of mediocre rose. Had to ask for check. Seemed understaffed.

I travel a fair amount and have eaten in many hotel restaurants. I am absolutely amazed at how expensive this was for the amount of food you get. I just ordered a hamburger with onion rings. That was nearly $30. Add to that one beer And it was almost $50. And what gets me is that’s not enough. They tacked on an additional $2.22 as an “administrative charge“. Never, ever, ever have I seen an administrative charge in a hotel restaurant. What administration are they doing? Was that the cost of just pushing a few buttons on a computer to print out a receipt? Clearly, I’m not going back. I can’t afford to eat here with the per diem rates that I get. They priced themselves out of my business. I will have to go to another restaurant in town.

We stay at the Hyatt near Levi Stadium when we go to 49er games so we spend a lot of time at Evolution, the hotel bar and cafe. We were there Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and spent many hours eating, drinking and socializing with other Niner fans and I just had to say how wonderful the servers we had were, specifically Nadia and Fida. They both worked long hours on both days which must've pretty well killed their holiday for them but they remained so positive, happy and helpful. We have had great service from them before but this time really stood out because they managed to make Christmas better for so many guests despite not having that time with their families and it was truly appreciated by all of us who, besides game day, had nowhere else to go. The drinks were also great (fantastic Bloody Mary), food was good and the atmosphere is always wonderful, for football fans especially. Only negative is that many of us commented that we would love to see some Niner specials or a 49er flag (as in years past) or something to kick off the celebration on game day. But still a fun place and helped immeasurably by Fida and Nadia! Thank you and see you soon!

This place is inside the Hyatt hotel in Santa Clara. There is a regular restaurant and a sushi bar, then you can order off their menu in the large bar area. That's what we did. It was late and we were exhausted after a long day at a conference, so we were happy to sit down for a meal. Our server was nice and everything came out quickly. My husband got a burger and I had a chicken sandwich. The food was decent, nothing special. My fries were pretty good. Prices were high for what we got, not a surprise for a hotel.

I was here bc of an event at the convention center. Their service was super slow, we waited 10+ minutes for our drinks when more than half of the tables were empty. I got an expensive wishy washy cup of tea and no apologies for their late service. $12 for a to-go paper cup and a cheap tea bag.

We come to this hotel often and every time you have to request service. Drinks are not refilled, and items served feel premade and the cost is not worth what is being served. I advise door dashing real food and you will have a better experience.

Food was OK, service was not that great, and I don’t like to be gouged, and that is what this hotel does. Just because minimum wage went up, doesn’t mean you should tack on a separate charge for that. You charge enough in your prices to cover that.

This review is for the bar... not the separate restaurant or the sushi bar.Food is ok, beer and liquor selection is pretty good, service was good. Only real downside is that everything is expensive. About what you'd expect for a hotel bar, but still... Also, it seems they adjust prices upwards when there are events at or near the hotel.Kid-friendliness: While not kid-unfriendly, it's much more business/conference/meeting oriented.

Located inside the Hyatt hotel in Santa Clara (San Jose), it's right inside by the entrance to the hotel so it's an interesting ambiance of finding a table towards the quieter side, or people watching towards the busier entrance side. They have a decent to small selection of food prepared fresh and served to the table or sushi bar seating. Good ingredients and overall taste was enjoyable. We had the Beet& Burrata salad which was on the sweet side & really delicious and also the chicken and portobello sandwich, unfortunately the chicken was dry but the flavor was good - not sure I'd recommend it. The California roll was as expected and the Dragon roll was a nice portion & well prepared. Prices are average to what you'd expect at a hotel restaurant. (See menu photo) The servers were all polite and respectful.

Okay for a captive audience but not wallet friendly in any sense. Service was good and friendly. The Breakfast Buffet was mostly okay. There was certainly a reasonable selection of hot and cold foods. The menu offered Omelets & Eggs any style, but we weren't told where that was done or how to order them. Wasn't a big deal because we rarely order Omelets, but a couple of over easy eggs would have been nice. I think that the waitstaff were overwhelmed by the number of guests and didn't have the time to let us know that we could order omelets and eggs from them. We enjoyed the Orange Juice and hated the coffee, despite the fact that it was Peet's, our favorite. The saving grace was that both were included in the $28 price. Yes, $28 for Breakfast Buffet. Remember, you're in a hotel. Would I do it again? Well, I refused to pay again on Sunday, but probably yes, in a pinch. Of the food that I had, the Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Potatoes and Thick Cut Bacon were good and enjoyable. The Chicken Sausage was very firm and dry. The Danish was just that, a Danish. It was a one plate breakfast for me because the Chicken Sausage sat like a lump in my belly.

Great food and service , Both American food and Sushi was a nice surprise, 9th visit , had the steak and cheese fries , preferred mine with no pico, very good and different, Tyson provided great service at the bar, had sushi and gyoza, very fresh and good, didn’t like the Japanese pickles though, vegetable pizza was awesome, hope to be back soon, thank you !

I was staying at the Hyatt on business with no car so was restricted to restaurants within the Hyatt. First night, I order from the Market and had a sandwich. The second night I tried the Evolution restaurant. I order the pasta at an expensive $38. The food had little taste, small portion and had no seasoning. I had 5 prawns in a bowl of pasta! I had to ask for salt and pepper! My server was very polite but the food itself was not good!
