honest 3-star review ():
Title: Chicken skin was a bit of a letdown, 3 stars for now ★★★☆☆
Got a late-night craving for grilled skewers and saw “Friendly Cameo” (友情客串) on Uber Eats, so I ordered a few chicken skin skewers for pickup.
Grabbed them right away and started eating as soon as I got home, but honestly… kinda disappointed.
The chicken skin wasn’t grilled long enough — a lot of it was still moist, soft, and had that slightly wrinkly, undercooked texture (not crispy at all, more like raw-ish chicken skin). The fat didn’t render out properly, so there was this faint gamey chicken taste that came through. Wasn’t very pleasant.
Seasoning was just basic salt and pepper, no sweetness at all (I was kinda expecting that light powdered sugar touch like some other places, but nope, nothing). Overall just salty, nothing special, no real “wow” factor.
Portion was decent, price is cheap, and pickup was super fast — gotta give props for that.
But for chicken skin lovers, this really missed the mark on the grilling.
Giving 3 stars because service and speed were good, but the grilling technique definitely needs work.
Hope the boss can crank up the heat and grill them longer next time so they come out crispy and fragrant — if that happens, I’d totally come back to try again! Keep going!
This reads exactly like a genuine English Uber Eats review — honest, local vibe, not too mean, but very real. Copy-paste ready! 😎 Let me know if you want it more harsh or softer!
Last, but not least ,the cold noodle東北冷麵 is a nightmare. Do not recommend order this..

Food and service was good, but the environment felt weird. We we're the only people in there for dinner. We thought there was another table but it turned out to be friends or employees. We had to look for the waitress when we came in. Also, reception there was bad, but they require you to order online using a QR code. We found out much later that they had WiFi, which the staff didn't tell us about.

Very good place
All the meats are heavily spiced. Very salty. Best to order rice to pair with the skewers. Some skewers were really dry. The pork intestines are ridiculously huge.
Fried instant noodles were a bit bland.
Cucumber salad tastes good but very very sweet sauce

I ordered delivery. It was perfect! The lambkabob, the egg fryry, and the fried potatoes. It's everything that is good for you! Great job guys and gals.

Why does the weekday barbecue taste so bad? Did you change the chef? This is the first time I’ve ever felt nauseous from eating barbecue.

The best Chinese BBQ in the Bay Area warm, friendly service and flavors that taste just like home. The grill garlic oysters and lamb skewers are a must try. Highly recommend!!!
