Garlic Restaurant – My New Favorite!

Today, I tried the Lamb Beef Gyro Plate at Garlic, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most delicious and flavorful meat dishes I’ve ever had. Every bite was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and incredibly tasty. The sides and sauces complemented the dish perfectly.

What really impressed me was that after my meal, they gifted me a rice pudding (sutlac), which was not only a kind gesture but also a clear sign of the restaurant’s hospitality and dedication to customer satisfaction.

I’m very happy to have visited Garlic and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to everyone!

Our experience at this restaurant was great! Starting with the service - the owner of the place was so welcoming and kind. He was the one who served us food, offered tea, provided us with high chair and overall was very friendly. When food came - it was simply delicious. Salmon was nicely grilled from outside and so tender from inside with plenty of seasoning, simple rice was super tasty - my picky toddler ate all side of that rice (which was very impressive for us). My husband had falafel wrap he said it was super yummy - only one thing that he wished for is a bigger portion. Lastly, we shared a portion of rice pudding and it was nice treat to end mealtime: mildly sweet just right amount sugar for us. Overall, we enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back. Hands down best hummus I’ve had in the bay area! The chicken was well done and juicy, even the slapped! Idk how the man does it, but this place is a must try.

Order lahmacun. Dough base was crispy although they served it with the salad on top which caused the crispy base to turn soggy and chewy. Please serve the salad separately.
Iskender kebab was delicious and meat tender. My only issue is the price of $22 for a plate of mostly yogurt and a bit of meat and pita bread. The bread was hidden underneath the meat. I've seen this trick in turkey where they make the main dish portion look generous.
Food is fantastic but I wish they would bring their prices down to local rates.

Overall the place was amazing, from food portions to service, they had it all. Our food came out within 5 minutes of ordering and it was good portions! Not to mention the owner was very friendly and made sure everything was good! Would recommend! I had the gyro combo that came with lamb and chicken which was the BEST

Travelling from Houston and this was our first food stop. We ordered nearly everything on the menu, and service and food was absolutely amazing!!
