Bossam was delightful. Very tender and flavorful. Fat was rendered just enough to get a juicy but not encumbering texture. Creamy uni noodles not bad but would have been more effective with a thicker sauce, noodles were slippery. Overall too expensive for just the food but the service and atmosphere come included.

When I heard the restaurant’s name, Giwa, I imagined a Korean-style BBQ place because, as a Korean, “giwa” means the roof tiles of traditional Korean houses — usually bluish in color. But it turned out to be completely different! It was a beautifully decorated Korean-style restaurant filled with pink flowers, even the restroom was pink! That was really impressive. It’s a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is lovely — perfect for women or couples.

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience dining here for brunch! The food was very flavorful and nicely presented, with generous portions that left me satisfied but not overly full. The interior of the place is very pretty—bright, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Our server, Sean, was especially attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a lovely spot for a great meal and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back!

My daughter and I tried GIWA for the first time for dinner to celebrate her. Since it was for dinner, it was not as busy and everyone was so attentive including the co-owner who made sure we were well taken care of. Gave us a free drink, dessert and roses. It was a nice evening of good food, beautiful ambiance and great people working there.
