Bossam was delightful. Very tender and flavorful. Fat was rendered just enough to get a juicy but not encumbering texture. Creamy uni noodles not bad but would have been more effective with a thicker sauce, noodles were slippery. Overall too expensive for just the food but the service and atmosphere come included.
Everything was perfect! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed my meal here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!
When I heard the restaurant’s name, Giwa, I imagined a Korean-style BBQ place because, as a Korean, “giwa” means the roof tiles of traditional Korean houses — usually bluish in color.
But it turned out to be completely different! It was a beautifully decorated Korean-style restaurant filled with pink flowers, even the restroom was pink! That was really impressive.
It’s a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is lovely — perfect for women or couples.
