Top quality meats, please make a reservation for best experience. Drink some Cass beer while you're here.

The service was too bad. They refused to serve us until our party was present. And there was an uncomfortable rush to vacate our table before we had even finished our meal. If there is time limitation on dining, it should be clearly communicated, perhaps displayed at the entrance. The food is over priced. And it's very hard to find a parking spot. Would never come back again. If you want to get together with your friends and enjoy your meal, avoid this place!

Let me share my experience. I've been to gooyi gooyi a million times. The service is great. The food is delicious. They cook for you. They even drink with you if you offer. But the last time I went, I went with a group of 6. They made us order 6 orders of food, 1 per person, never had them do that before since they have set packages. 6 orders of meat was a lot. We didn't finish it. Then when the bill came, there was no tip included, nor did it say 18% for group of 6 or more. I tipped 17% and she literally asked me for the difference. Probably the best Korean place in Santa Clara.

Food was nasty Service was horrible. The freakin lady I think owner was hella rude since we first walked in. She served our table and let the meat over cooked, turned black and tasted nasty. The foods were overprice . She ran after me asking for 18% tip. I'm like hell no. I'm not giving u 18% tip. You was rude the entire time and asked for tip? Never coming back here again. Definitely not recommended.

One of my favorite late night go-to places. The package choices are the way to go. The meat is plentiful and the fact that they cook for you means you can sit back and just enjoy the food and cold beer and soju with your friends. I always opt for the Kimchi Fried Rice after to mix with the leftover meat. Excellent for breakfast the next day. Parking sucks but you can park on the street if needed.

In past years, we loved this place but the food has gone downhill. The quality of brisket, side dishes, and cooking of the food weren't up to par the last two times I went. Totally not worth the money now. Sad to say goodbye.

Way over priced, requires you to buy way more food than you need. Some items requires you to order 2 dishes from the same dish which is ridiculous. No i don't recommend this location unless they change their bad habits.....

The restaurant is very cozy but it's a very tiny restaurant. This Korean BBQ place that doesn't make your whole outfit & hair smell for some reason. Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. However, it does require each person to order 1 meat which might be too much for some groups. Overall, service is good, but I would expect more quality meat with the money that they charged.

Never coming back here ever again. Food was good. Nothing special. Gen's BBQ has way better quality meat than this place. Only perk is that opens late to satisfy cravings. Has a lot of sides -- although sides are cheap to prepare to begin with. Tipped about 20%; manager ran after me in the parking lot because I didn't tip "enough" and forced me to tip another 10%. Didn't know tipping was required now. Also, it is not all you can eat -- you pay per package they offer. Very unprofessional and I'm pretty sure her chasing after me, and forcing me to pay more was illegal.

I wouldn't return, there are other KBBQ spots that's a better value and experience Been to this place a few times and I would say that the food is good but not great, especially considering the price. However, I took one star off for each of the following: Service: the last time I was there, they were rushing me and my sister out. We got one of the more expensive combos, 200$ total for 2 people and they were trying to rush us out! I told the server to stop placing more meat on the grill as we were not done with the previous batch, but she looked at her manager then back at me and quietly said, "sorry I have to" Price: I got a 200$ combo and there wasn't that much food. Even for 2 small people. Also the quality did not warrant 200$ for 1.5lbs of meat. It was good, not great. Parking: horrendous, be prepared to sit outside and hope you find a spot.

Did the 3rd combo option for 3 serving. Honestly, it is just enough for two.

I can see the outline of a really neat KBBQ spot, but some significant shortfalls hamper the experience so it's hard for me to fully recommend. It's rare to find places that will cook the meats for you, so those who aren't so inclined will find solace here. It's a bit close-packed, but it's a bopping spot with kpop blaring through the speakers around the place. I genuinely did enjoy their banchan and kimchi fried rice options, but the meats were sadly way too overcooked. I get the sense it might be specific staff that are better about watching cooking time than others, since there was an older auntie that tried to catch our brisket overcooking, but wasn't there to see our pork belly and beef tongue face the same fate (as we wereen't her assigned table). So, I hedge my comments by saying YMMV. The menu does seem to have non-BBQ options and tables are sorted accordingly (BBQ vs non BBQ). Either way the BBQ prices are at a premium, so it's a bit of a tougher pill to swallow when the meat was so tough. The #1 combo would nominally be a pretty good deal (brisket, pork belly, tofu soup, steamed egg) as there were a lot of salads and side dishes that accompanied the table. Definitely better balanced composition compared to most KBBQ places. We added the beef tongue and kimchi fried rice options. Generally the meats were all rather overcooked so it's hard to judge quality (they were seared well, but very tough on the inside). The poor beef tongue was barely tender at all :(. Portions sizes seemed on the small side for the pricing relative to other KBBQ spots in the area. The steamed egg was reasonably prepared, but the tofu soup seemed to be a rather salty doenjang prep I wasn't too fond of. The banchan set was pretty thorough and legit though, plus they even give out a probiotic yakult analog to sweetly finish off the meal...so it's a shame to see it fall short due to our table's meat cooking. I wouldn't say no to giving it another whirl, but I'm hesitant to flip the coin again when I have options closer to me. At least they're open pretty late, so maybe another chance shall present itself.

Don't come here, racial discrimination➕The credit card was stolen for more than $1500 and it cannot be recovered. If you are not Korean you will only get shabby service.don't come, racism and credit card skimming more than $1500 and can't get back the money.
