Came in a Saturday afternoon, Google review said it is open. But it is not.

To start just want to say it is really a 3.5. Came in on a Saturday at lunch time. Place was pretty empty. Place is a bit on the smaller side. Service wise was just average. They took the order and food came relatively quickly, however server never came back afterFood wise orderedSpring rolls (3.5/5): was fresh, but nothing amazing. Would order again if craving spring rolls since they are reasonably priced comparatively Egg rolls (3.5/5): Nice and crispy and hot. Flavor was decent just needed a bit more punchBeef Pho + Meatballs (3.5/5): Well priced, noodles were a little on the undercooked side, broth mild flavor, meat decent cutsPork rice plate + shrimp (2/5): Would skip all rice plates if that was the standard. Small portion of meat, shrimp over cooked, flavor just meh (not worth the add on). Flavor of the pork was the only thing going until just got a huge piece of just fat....Over all this place is one of the few reasonably priced pho places I've seen these days. Will definitely be back to give the pho another shot and the crispy noodle dish. Definitely worth a try if your in the area

Good affordable Vietnamese food. Not oily. Tried the Grilled Pork plate and Crispy Egg Noodle dish. Grilled pork was well seasoned with sweet and salty taste. Served with rice, pickled carrots and radish, fresh veggies and a side of fish sauce. You can choose additional "topping" of other protein or egg roll for a couple of dollars more. The Crispy Noodles dish has veggies, chicken, shrimp and veggies with gravy. Gravy has a light chicken broth taste. So why not 4 or 5 stars? Food is good but flavor is on the lighter less complex side. Will return to try their pho next time I'm in the area.

Excellent pho broth (both beef and chicken)—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Lots of customization options. Overall great food and good value.

Small place in a plaza with parking in the back.Food was okay. Nothing that knocks your socks off.Don't bother ordering extras for the soups (extra charge): the meatballs (you're supposed to get 4) were cut into thirds and the tendon (supposed to get 4 pieces) was one piece. Ridiculous.Everything was a bit grimy. Service was friendly.Won't return with so many other options for Vietnamese food in the area

Since my go to Vietnamese Restaurant closed down, I have been in search of a new one. I decided to give Home Kitchen a try and I am so glad I did. Once I walked into the restaurant I was greeted by a very sweet lady. The restaurant is very nice and very clean. I placed my order and my food came out in good time. Won Ton Soup caught my attention and I am glad I did. It was a good price and they give you a good amount of wontons. I loved the broth as well. I am glad I found a new Vietnamese spot so quickly and I am looking forward to coming back here soon.

I wish there's a 3.5 Star option. Tried the House Special Crispy Egg Noodle and grilled pork rice plate. The grilled pork was sweet with just the right amount of saltiness; was served with white rice, pickled carrots and radish, fresh veggies, and a fish sauce for dipping. If you want the chili to spice up the dipping sauce, you need to ask for it. Most Vietnamese restaurants have them on the table. They have a bottle of chili sauce, more like Sriracha, on the table. The menu describes the meat as well seasoned which is true as well as marinated. The Crispy Egg Noodle came with veggies, fish balls, chicken and shrimp with gravy. This dish is also good. First time having crispy flat egg noodles which is a bit different from the usual crispy round noodles. I appreciate that it's a bit different than traditional. The gravy with the noodles was lighter in color and flavor than the Chinese version but still tasty. Also not too salty; almost tate like the gravy has chicken broth. The price is very reasonable. I like how you can add more "toppings" or sides of your own preference instead of having a pre-set combo plate. The add ons range from #1.50 to $2.25 and could be another type of protein or egg roll. Neither dish was oily which is a plus. For the food 3.5 stars. So why 3.5 stars? The flavors are on the milder side and was hoping to have more options on the "toppings" like Shrimp cake and shredded pork. Clean dining area, affordable and nice staff. Plenty of parking. I would go back to try their pho and other dishes. So stay tuned for an update.

Decided to WFH today and the sudden craving for PHO had hit me hard. You all know, Pho is not something one can door dash. This was one of the restaurants located closeby. At 4pm you have the option to sit at any table and you'll likely be the only customer. Huge PLUS, as service and food come out REAL QUICK. Anyways, I defintely recommend y'all stop by to satisfy your pho cravings.

No MSG! It's rare to find this, so I like to point it out when I do see it.Unfortunately, one thing prevented it from being five stars for me - there was a hair in my soup. Also, service wasn't very friendly and they never refilled my water. I had the Veggie Tom-Yum Noodle Soup. The soup base was very flavorful. They had a good amount of noodles in the soup and the toppings (veggies & tofu) were plentiful! I enjoyed my soup from Home Kitchen and would happily return, provided I don't ever find that unsanitary addition of a hair in my meal again...

Very good bún chay (vegetarian vermicelli with seitan) and vegetarian spring rolls.

Every time I have dinner at the Japanese restaurant in Franklin Square, Home Kitchen Vietnamese Cuisine always takes space in the back of my mind. I was in the area and wanted something healthy to eat. Home Kitchen came to mind, so I made my way to the Vietnamese restaurant for a late lunch around 1pm. The place wasn't too busy, which was great since I was pretty hungry. Knowing that it was a Vietnamese restaurant, I expected the food would come out quickly anyway and it did!I ordered the shredded fried tofu vermicelli and enjoyed it. I'm not vegan, but I don't eat pork anymore. The fried shredded tofu was a great alternative to pork floss. Also the vegan ham was pretty impressive. It was so flavorful and had a texture more like a tender chicken thigh. It had a good balance of protein, veggies, and noodles, and I didn't leave feeling overly stuffed. I would certainly get this again, but I'm looking forward to trying other items off their menu.

This place is just okay. I ordered the seafood soup. it was a bit salty. The soup had a taste of tomato rather than seafood. The service was okay. They had one person doing everything no time to check on customers. I had a regular size soup and a smoothie for $19.86
