Just happened to be shopping nearby and stopped in to check out the menu for lunch on Sunday March 10. Since I am on a special diet, Samantha - the morning manager - was knowledgable about all the menu items and gave me options for a healthy lunch. We ordered 5 items to split between the two of us. The cafe is small, CLEAN, colorful and cozy. The food was as delicious as it looked. Food for great value, delicious, fresh and not greasy. We live a few miles away and have many restaurants to choose from, BUT, for a few miles of travel, we will definitely return to IRAKLIS very soon. ps; we did indulge in a Hazlenut and a Pomegranate-Hazelnut Turkish delight. Still licking my fingers.
ok this was really good! I got the chicken Damascus wrap and a Turkish delight.The chicken wrap was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. it came with fries, a garlicky dip and a hot sauce. The cheese and garlic dip was super flavorful and bold. Overall perfectly seasoned and I loved the pickle in it.The fries were obviously fresh cut and thicker. I loved that they were fresh cut but maybe could be a little crispier so they don’t fall apart. Dipping them in the garlic/hot sauce combo was good.ok but the Turkish delight was honestly the highlight. It was SOO good. I usually am not a huge fan of these types of desserts but maybe I was just having bad ones?? I got the orange & milk flavor but I will be back to try more!! It was like a coconutty/orange marshmallow.oh!! Also the employee behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming!Vegetarian options: options for veggies in every category including desserts

Husband was on a walk and called me to meet him here based on the menu (he's part Lebanese & saw lamb, so...?)I had the kofta plate, he had the lamb plate and both our meals were a perfect portion size and delicious - by the end we were looking at the rest of the menu and planning our next visit

My favorite place to go to in Bay Area to get authentic Syrian cuisine.Had the Kata plate, minced beef with authentic spices cooked the perfection, comes wrapped in a thin pita.Also had the Lentil soup, very warm and comforting. Falafels are always a great appetizer.My friend order the ShishTawook, chicken kebob screwers comes over rice with a side salad and to die for garlic spread.The staff where so kind, Grace and Alexa, so gracious and accommodating.Feels like home ?

Just dropped by Iraklis on a whim after a quick Google search, and boy, was it a pleasant surprise! Their food is all about delicious simplicity. The Damascus style chicken wrap gave me serious Shawarma feels, rivaling even my favorite spot in the Bay Area, Shawarmaji. However, the fries were a bit underwhelming.I also sampled the chicken plate, cheese and zaatar on pita, and labneh on pita, and I must say, each dish was a solid winner. And that toum (garlic spread) – it was out-of-this-world amazing!My only tiny gripe is that I wish the portions were a tad larger for the price point. When compared to other top spots, it feels like you're getting slightly less bang for your buck here.But hey, when it comes to taste, Iraklis nails it. Highly recommend!

Came here looking at the great reviews and also saw that they had Arabic coffee.We were greeted by a very friendly person at the register.The ambiance was really nice with traditional coffee utensils and decor.I got the Arabic coffee which was heated on sand (Turkish style). Also got the chicken shawarma plate which is not on the menu, but they were kind enough to make it for me :)I have had arabic coffee before (in Oman). The coffee they served here had a similar flavor of cardamom. I loved it.+1 for the setup.The chicken shawarma was also yummy.Will be back here to try out their huge selection of sweets as well.

I was craving Mediterranean food, so I did a quick search, found this place, and decided to try it. It is a hidden gem with unmatched service. The owner seems to be part of the staff, ensuring everything is clean and organized.For lunch, I had vegan kofta (bulgur-based spread blended with tomato, onion, and spices) and hummus (it came with a Lavash), and to my surprise, they gave me two falafels to try with tahini sauce. It is a great touch and a delightful surprise (especially in this economy).Their menu is varied, and everything looks delicious. Give it a chance! Just keep in mind that it is a small place and only has a few tables.
