Food is awesome and different style of dishes like pan based ..
Food was top notch! Went there for my wife’s birthday and it was soo soo good! Had soya chap and one of the vegetable gravy. The vegetable gravy was so good. Its hard to get compliment from Indian parents for Indian food in usa! Parents loved it too! Chin chin and other cocktail were on lighter side of alcohol but overall it was a delight! Pan Kulfi presentation was amazing! Basil paratha was good too!
Only suggestion would be to please expand on vegetarian menu if you can! Very less options!
every dish we ordered was so delicious
If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, this Indian restaurant is a must-visit. The food is absolutely amazing—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Indian spices that truly elevate each dish. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a romantic date night or a special evening out.
What really sets this place apart is their selection of specials. If you get the chance, don’t miss out on their raj kachori—a vibrant and flavorful street-style starter that’s as visually impressive as it is delicious. The lamb chops are perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, offering a bold and savory experience. And of course, their butter chicken is creamy, rich, and comforting, arguably one of the best you’ll find. With a menu that blends traditional flavors with modern presentation, this spot offers an unforgettable culinary journey.
We recently had a team dinner with our business group at Jaks in Santa Clara, an upscale modern Indian restaurant. The food was good, and the service was excellent—no complaints on that front.
However, the pricing felt a bit on the higher side, possibly due to the location, surrounded by major tech companies. It seems like a popular spot for hosting business lunches and team dinners, and it fits that niche well.
Overall, a solid choice for a professional dining experience, but expect to pay a premium for the setting.
Top notch on all fronts!! Loved it and will certainly return next time in Santa Clara!! Food excellent as is selection of wine!
I went for dinner. The place and location is awesome and so is the food. I really liked their briyani.
Better choice than Pacific catch
Amazing food. Service was quick and staff were friendly.
I go to Jaks every other week and I love their food. Unfortunately I came Sunday 4th of May at around 5:15pm and I was welcomed with the worst and most disrespectful, unprofessional service I have experienced. Sadly I will never go to this restaurant again. The in-charge kept me standing for almost 5 mins speaking on the phone to the point that I had to tell the in-charge “you do not have tables” he did not even acknowledge and finally took menus and put them on the table and left. The place was super hot no ACs and we were served with warm tab water and no one asked us for the order. We left and he was still on the phone and I said “this is not the service I expect” and he gave me a thumbs up. When I went back and said speak to me since I am a customer and gave my feedback and asked about a manager, he said he is the manager. I asked for someone else and he said the other person is on vacation. He was unprofessional as a manager but since I saw him before, he was a good server since i come more offer but no management skills and no customer service training. I am never coming to jaks again nor recommending it. Also, he finally said you do not want service? I said no, he said I have other people bye. No one was there at 5-ish. We were the first. I asked for a card and he said I will give your feedback. I said i want an online feedback, he said we do not have. Disappointment. I will never recommend it and will make sure to share my feedback to everyone I recommended jaks to. Thanks.

The food is a shame in the name of Indian food. In trying to be exotic , they have gone terribly south. There was nothing authentic about Indian culinary . I wish there was an option to give them a negative rating. They made a big deal of needing a reservation so we made one only to find a handful of people there.
Which authentic Indian restaurant does not have Roti, Naan or Poori on their menu. The only thing they had was paratha … because that is the only thing that can be made in advance .
Excellent food and the ambience- Hospitality was by far the best I have seen - will recommend 100%
I was here on a weekday for lunch with friends and the service was swift and on point. We tried the Shakarkandi/sweet potato chaat, paani puri - both good appetizers but the gobi manchurian look alike was a bomb! The paneer biryani bowl was only satisfactory, sadly because of the overpowering cardamom and the dal could have used a little more salt. Both, the pineapple and mango mojito mocktails were refreshing! Definitely going back to try more.
Beware!! Parathas are frozen!
Food is excellent but the staff were arranging silverware the whole time we were there. It made the entire dining area noisy. Not the environment I want to be for a dinner.
