I've been coming here since probably around the time this cafe opened. They do a couple things that other cafes don't, like the dirty hojicha (my favorite, with oat milk and boba), or their charcoal series. I admit their baked goods selection is ok, but the gluten free option recently added is pretty nice, with a few items being dairy free as well (I'm lactose intolerant). I also have yet to join in an art workshop, but they're frequent and seem very friendly.
Service is nice, the baristas are friendly. The dine in mugs and dishware are customized ceramics, which I appreciate as a ceramic artist myself.

Unsweetened request was ignored.

I ordered a delivery for Jiaren Signature Fruit tea unsweetened. The first slurp was a big chunk of syrup at the bottom. It was too sweet. I mixed it well and the whole tea tasted like sugar water, much sweeter than usual. The tea makers definitely need to pay more attention to the requirements.

Jiaren Coffee Shop is a cozy local spot that feels very much part of the community. Lots of locals stop by, and it’s pet-friendly, which gives the place a relaxed neighborhood vibe. The coffee tastes good, with plenty of syrup options to customize your drink. I also liked the professional latte art that comes with every cup — a thoughtful touch. Overall, a really nice place to grab coffee and unwind.

The space features a bright, welcoming ambiance with creative touches, featuring art-forward design elements and an array of charming items—such as crochets and custom stickers—for purchase. Ample natural light fills the room. The menu offers great coffee and cookies.

My matcha bubble tea with boba was excellent. You can order from the counter or electronic kiosk. (August 2025)

Cozy coffee and boba shop in the lobby of a yoga studio. Pastries and drinks are delicious.

Lots of options and really yummy drinks! Has an arts and crafts vibe going on since they offer classes. Staff was very welcoming and even gave me a free drink because I ordered a Thai drink with boba but when she noticed she made the drink without boba, she offered it for free and remade it! Awesome service

Tried their coffee for the first time. Their ambience is cozy with plenty of cute souvenirs. Their service was quick and amicable. We got the dark chocolate mocha and coffee latte both hot. The flavor was good and it was refreshing. I wish I had ordered it a bit hot but yeah it was a great experience. Not that crowded for a weekday afternoon. The location is tricky as the shop is on the other side of the road.

It’s a cute place to get matcha and coffee. They use Mizuba ceremonial matcha. The coffee is also single origin sourced. They host lots of art classes.

Jiaren Cafe is a very interesting spot. I thoroughly enjoyed the boba and pastry I got, and the staff were quite nice.

It was quite challenging to find, however. It’s tucked away in the back of a shopping center, and the entrance to the back of the building is quite hidden too. On top of that, the parking back there is really confusing, and the business itself is labeled as a yoga studio.

After you get through all that strangeness, though, it’s pretty solid! Haha
