I’ve been here a couple times now, the atmosphere is always quiet and the staff are nice and the food is great. I love the sweet sour cabbage, the kidney and of course mapo tofu.

Came with my gf for a cozy Sunday lunch. The place is not that crowded. We have the lamp hotpot and the duck. Waiters are friendly and the food is good. We didn't ask for any rice and they suggest to add less salt in the pot. Would definitely come back next time when around.

Hoping and praying JX Cuisine finds another place to open after their current location gets demolished for a new development. Their salt and pepper fish, mapo tofu, and dumplings are so good.

No-frills restaurant in a no-frills location serving no-frills food at frills prices. May have been good at one point, but nowadays you can find much better elsewhere.

A South Bay must-try for authentic Sichuan home-style cooking! Met a friend here and was glad we came — the owner and chef are from Sichuan and the flavors feel very traditional.
The Mapo Tofu is incredibly fragrant, not overly spicy, and perfect with rice (huge portion!). The stir-fried pork kidney was super fresh and tender, cooked over high heat and my personal favorite. The green peppercorn Mao Xue Wang has a nice numbing aroma without being too spicy and is packed with ingredients.
We also enjoyed the crisp celtuce vegetable, a comforting pork rib & yam soup, and finished with sweet rice pudding and brown sugar rice cakes. Simple, authentic, and very satisfying — I’d definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the mix of fresh greens, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots made every bite feel balanced and satisfying. The sauce was rich and savory without being overly heavy, soaking perfectly into the base and tying everything together. Portions were generous, ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation was comforting and appetizing. Would 100% order this again.

We regularly eat lunch at this location as a group of four and always order four lunch specials. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit. The main reason is the consistently rude behavior of one employee (a tall gentleman). His attitude toward us has been unwelcoming for quite some time, and the way he stares at customers makes the experience uncomfortable. He often appears unhappy or bothered, which affects the overall atmosphere. We’ve continued coming back hoping things would improve, but after many visits, nothing has changed. It’s disappointing because we otherwise enjoy the food.

Ordered feichang fen (intestine noodles). The pork intestine had a strong fecal smell and taste, and we felt unwell after eating it. The delivery packaging was also unacceptable—an unsealed, unmarked plastic bag with no receipt or labeling. Serious food safety concerns.

The lamb ribs hotpot is really delicious! It has 4 veggies. Both of us are full. My daughter had the dumplings. She likes it as well!
