Atmosphere is excellent everything is clean and visually appealing. They play soft instrumental music in the background but you can still hear the water feature clearly. The prices are similar to other middle cost sushi restaurants putting you back 15-20 for a specialty roll. The man who prepared my sushi was skilled, he was able to meticulously assemble my rolls with minimal handling, a testament to years of skill. The rolls were excellent 9.5/10 the rice is the perfect texture soft with just a hint of bite with a slight sweet flavor. The fish was good quality sliced expertly it wasn't chewy and tasted very fresh. They also have a variety of other "Japanese" dishes like karaage bowls for the family members that don't like sushi. Side note they have a weekday sushi deal that comes with a California roll and another roll from a limited list for about $18. Handicap friends be aware there isn't direct parking lot access it is a hundred feet or so from the parking lot but the walkway is well paved and spacious. A great establishment to eat at, if you want to introduce a friend to sushi do it hear, if they still don't like it I doubt they ever will!

I’ve been coming here for about 25 years. The sushi is delicious, and the staff, (especially Teresa) is always so accommodating, patient and kind (I have a son with special needs). The SF Giant roll is a must-try!

My daughter loves the koi pond. It keeps the kids entertained while waiting for the food. The wait staff is really nice. Great place to grab sushi.

I had a wonderful dinner with my brother visiting from.... My, now late wife, used to go here when we first started dating and went on our wedding anniversaries here after and it was always great in every aspect. I love to sit and eat by koi water feature. It is always relaxing. Before, during and after the meal, the employees kept busy cleaning, straightening and making sure we had everything we needed. Yes, we were the only ones in the restaurant, but that is OK because the employees never stopped working and it showed In the quality of the experience. Just like all of the times in the past. I know it sounds corny, but my wife let me know she was present with me in spirit by turning on the ambient music just as I was mentioning to my brother, "I seem to remember music playing when I have been here in the past." When suddenly it started playing. And this was just after a kinda long awkward silence at the table. It's what made me say something about it. I'm just saying.......? Thank you for the great experience, again. In my opinion, don't change a thing. Although, if our visit was indicative of how many customers are not coming in, I hope that changes for you, so you can continue to provide a great, well rounded and memorable experience in dining quality. Something that is truly hard to find, to that degree, in a restaurant these days.Kid-friendliness: I think kids might enjoy looking at the cool koi fish pond. It's naturaly relaxing for most adults to hear the waterfall, probably would keep a child's attention and maybe create a spiritual connection with the child that they will remember fondly for a long time. I don't know, but I hope so.

I ordered beef sukiyaki. Vegetables choice was bad and not fully cooked, soup was too salty, and the beef slices were undercooked. I would say the worst sukiyaki I’ve had in California. My boyfriend ordered 7 pieces of sashimi plate, it took over 30 min for them to bring the food in when there were only 6 other persons (3 tables) were dining during our time there and they left in the middle. If u want to go somewhere nice to chat, this is probably a good choice but if u want real food as an important meal of your day? plz don’t come here.

I gonna be honest this probably the worst ramen place you could go to. We waited 30mins for a Chicken Karaage and it wasn't good either. The chicken was salty, too much sauce and it was a small portion comparing to its prices. And I ordered the Pork Ramen, I got instant noodles and the broth was full msg, too. Also, who put cilantro inside a ramen???

Below average food and prices are high for the quality of food. Plates came out not hot, and the chicken bowl could be made with better homemade teriyaki sauce. I don't know who gives a lettuce salad with grapes and candi cherries. We were the only party in the restaurant on a Sunday night. Plenty of parking in the parking lot too with wheelchair spots.
