Really good service, good (English) breakfast!
I really liked here, pricer but portion was generous and tasted good. The service was great too.
We booked a large group meeting (20 people) that grew to 28 people. The team handled the change quickly and we never really had any delays. I felt bad that the server didn't have much help but she did a great job and I really appreciated her hard work. Food was good as always, especially the steak skewers appetizers. Many got the large steak and said it was so good. Thanks for allowing us to have our group dinner there - we had a great time and look forward to the next time!

A mixed experience at La Fontana, Santa Clara
I recently dined at La Fontana and ordered the Chilean Sea Bass paired with a Lagunitas IPA. The sea bass was undoubtedly the highlight—perfectly cooked with a delicate, flaky texture and a beautifully seared exterior. The flavors were well-balanced, light yet satisfying, showcasing the freshness of the fish. Pairing it with the bold and hoppy notes of the Lagunitas IPA added a nice contrast and rounded out the meal.
However, the pasta I tried fell short. The flavor was far too bland for my taste, lacking the depth or seasoning needed to elevate the dish. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected more attention to detail in the execution of their pasta dishes.
On the bright side, the ambiance was pleasant and relaxed, making it a comfortable spot for a meal, and the service was attentive without being intrusive.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The café at Hilton Santa Clara is an absolute delight! The pastries are simply amazing, offering a perfect blend of flavors and textures that make every bite memorable. Their drink selection is equally impressive, with fantastic options that cater to every palate. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing coffee break or a quick snack. Highly recommended! ☕🍰🥐
Pasta and calamari are good. The burger is burnt. Prices are high.

The food is good, the service is good. There was almost no one there for lunch. The prices seem very high which could explain the drop off of guests at lunch from days gone by.
Nice bar with sports on all the TVs around. Had the Chimichurri Steak Bites which were really good! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable as well. Decent experience all round.

Each time I stay at Hilton Santa Clara, I eat at this restaurant because there are no other eateries in the area. Each of this times, I feel relieved when I leave because the food is horrible. It is junk, junk, junk food, hugely overpriced and tasteless. The $27 breakfast is not any better than free breakfast at Hampton Inn, there is no separate lunch menu, and dinner menu, everything I tried, and I tried almost everything due to my business travel, is tasteless and horrible. No wonder it is almost always empty! Noone would want to eat here unless they have to.

Weren't able to sit and eat inside. Were outside with preconcert crowd. Lively but loud and not what we were looking for. The special hotdogs was good huge but didn't like the toppings. Chicken rice bowl was okay, only kind of dinner option.

We dined in the bar for dinner rather than restaurant area, although the menu in the bar area is the same, per our server. It was very busy due to the Rolling Stones concert so we were happy to get a table. The service was very good considering everything going on. I felt the menu was a very limited dinner menu - no real options for a vegetarian diet. I am not sure, but possibly they changed the menu that night as I did not see items that I had seen online that I was interested in. I wasn't impressed with the menu at all, but my friends liked the wings. Fries were good. Feeling kinda neutral based on the overall experience.
Vegetarian options: Other than fries, and maybe a salad (Ceasar isn't vegetarian), I can't say I had options. I didn't see a vegetarian burger of any type offered; most places offer at least vegetarian burger substitutes these days.

The customer service was a standout. The food was great too. I would recommend this restaurant which was conveniently located.
Had a light breakfast with eggs, sausage, & toast and the food was spot on. Service was excellent - our waiter and waitress were extremely friendly and we enjoyed the conversation. We'll have to return to try the other food options there.
