my family went for dinner less than an hour before closing and service was excellent (we managed to leave right at closing time)!! the waiter serving us was very speedy without rushing us and my chicken fajitas were delicious, 10/10. would definitely come again!
I stop by to get a veggie burrito and I was disappointed with the food. The veggies are not typically what’s in a veggie burrito, who put steamed broccoli and carrots on a burrito? Also, I paid extra for guacamole and there was no guacamole on the burrito. I expected more from this place as it was rated best in silicon valley in 2016 and 2019.
Good takeout portions. Appreciate being able to use Apple Pay to order takeout
The menu downsized and the food taste real good but once I ate I spent a good portion of my time using the restroom. I took my leftovers home tried them the next day and had to run to the bathroom as soon as the food hut my stomach..... I probably will not eat here again
The food had little flavor. Beans were runny and rice very dry. Tacos are deep fried with little meat and tons of shredded lettuce. Over priced for the quality of food. If you have nothing to compare it to than it’s alright but compared to most Mexican food restaurants I’d say subpar. However our waiter was wonderful.
P.o.s manager "jorge" who knows if thats his real name.. threatened me to not give me the one burrito we where waiting for 10 minutes he was mostly worry about arguing with ride outside like if he was a parking security and im saying mostly this because he was super rude...Maybe you guys should hire him for parking security or a valet .he had 0 attention on orders ,people eating and the people walking inside had to wait until he finish his drama. As a manager you should worry about inside moving quick and not being rude.you should not worry about anything in parking when people are waiting long ,getting your attitude and threats. I never took the freaking burrito anyways it looks like everything is made from CANSo that is trash food , trash service..as others have saidHe was a chicken ? running without a head
Employees here are extremely rude specially the so call manager george he is the worst and runs around doing nothing like a chicken with no head. While customers are in the front waiting for one burrito for 15 min. And is not focused on the right thing. He told me if i didnt do what he wanted to him he was not going to get the order that a customer ordered worst place everything looks like its microwaved. learn some customer service. So called manager...
Was looking for that authentic taste of mexican home cooking ....not here Amigo... everything was plain jane ..white washed as my hispanic friend says ...but the waiter was absolutely fantastic
Food came out fresh but had no flavor. Service was super slow but the horchata was DELICIOUS.
Really enjoy the wait staff! The food was great even with a small incident, which was taken care of quickly and efficiently.

Food was amazing. Drinks were excellent, the La Paloma and margarita were definitely worth the flight down here. There were a couple less than stellar reviews, I suspect that was the work of a local Karen chapter
We have come here a number of years and had nice experience. Unfortunately on our last visit the food was more bland and I think they were understaffed. Service was slow. We'll give a few months before we go back and try again.
The waiter was beyond rude. Handed me a full menu, then pulled it out if my hand later while looking at it. This menu! He said. So then he comes by twice trying to get me to order. Just sat down. In the third pass I order an iced tea. He's like is that all? Dude. This guy is lucky I'm a nice guy. He was beyond rude. In a bar like this too. Some other guy was taking up 4 seats with his legs. Drinking and odouls. What a joke. And to think I came all the way from Almaden to go here because I used to like this place. Sorry Mr. Parker but your waiter is gonna tube ya.
The Restaurant That Delivery Services Is Destroying. Maybe. We have come to this restaurant for several years now. It has always been a decent experience. The food is good enough, the service ok, and the ambiance just nice. Nothing worth recommending somebody who knows what good Mexican food should be like. But, our last visit was horrific! My theory: The pandemic has stressed this family run business from one end, while delivery orders are squeezing it from the other.Let me explain. We showed up shortly after 5pm on a weekday. Very quiet, only two other tables seated, no waiting parties. But lots of to-go orders sitting, getting cold while they waited for their pickup. There was only one waiter, and a waiter/host visible. The waiter took our order promptly and drinks came quickly. Then it all changed. Our refills didn’t happen as usual. Our waiter was also having to carry multiple (dozens) off take-out orders to the front, while the host was on the phone constantly taking more to-go orders. Then more tables showed up. Waiter still taking lots of containers to front, host still on the phone. 30 minutes later, no change. The Tables seated before us gets food, tables seated after us gets food. Drinks go unfilled. Our food is not coming. Waiter is visibly stressed, and running like a headless chicken. No eye contact. The host is occasionally helping with table service, but mostly on the phone taking more orders which keep rolling out of the kitchen. At this point almost every table is occupied, and I only hope they didn’t get the service experience we did. Otherwise this restaurant’s walk-in sit down business is doomed. We finally get our food, 45 minutes after placing orders. It’s ok. I never expect excellence here, but it satisfies the urge for Mexican in the family. To be fair, there is no good Mexican food within a 5 mile radius. Most Mexican restaurants and food trucks are all just meeting a market need, but nothing shows the passion for flavor you’d typically find in a Mexican restaurant which leaves you craving for more.I don’t know if we’ll be back to La Paloma. It is clear they are under multiple stress factors and delivery service is taking priority over sit-down, tip-paying customers.I hope they are able to stabilize the service, and bring back the experience we originally came for. I’m sure the waiter and host would appreciate it.Maybe this should become a ghost restaurant service delivery only to those who prefer a guaranteed cold, soggy, sweaty plate of Mexican food on their couch.Sorry delivery services, not a lot of food is not made to handle your inconsistency of delivery services.I hope La Paloma improves.
Food was as good as ever hadn't been there since pre-covid. My favorite bay area Mexican restaurant
