La Paloma, the Santa Clara landmark, appears to be Permanently Closed; apparently, April 30, 2022 was their last day of operation, after all these years! So sorry to see it closed. All best regards and wishes to the owner and employees.

Some of the best enchiladas in town! My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid and we always have a delicious meal! Can't wait to go back again.

Not great. The place looked a mess, should have left while waiting for the host. Food was terrible, basically inedible. The only bright spot is we didn't order margaritas.

This Mexican restaurant has been here forever and in a land full of some of the best taquerias that's a great accomplishment. My family from time to time gathered here to eat and celebrate life in one way or another. What you get here is restaurant style atmosphere where you sit down order a meal and enjoy the company you bring. The food is god as is the service. So why not give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

My BFF and I decided to drive from Campbell for lunch and were very happy La Paloma was open. We had not eaten here since Pre Covid times and were extremely pleased to see they still had the fun kitchy decorations we remembered. After we ordered our cocktail we decided to share a trio fajitas plate of beef, chicken and shrimp. The shrimp were seared perfectly, fresh and had a nice texture. The marinade was light but tastful. The server was really great, was happy to do half flour and half corn so we both were happy. The plate came sizzling hot and the stream meant for a great aroma at the table. Fresh warm chips and a tasty salsa was replenished upon request. This restaurant has a very nice menu and definitely something for everyone and they make a nice cocktail. It's been at this location for over 40 years and really feels like a family restaurant that everyone can enjoy, even the kids. They had cartoons on the TV and trust me you will love watching old Tom and Jerry throughout your meal. So happy we decided to give this a try after so long. We'll be back. Sit back, enjoy a nice drink and relax. It's worth it!

The first rule of running a restaurant is that when customers walk in, you "meet 'em, greet em' and seat 'em." My wife and I just stood alone at the front desk of this joint for FIFTEEN minutes, under the two signs that read "Please wait to be seated" and "We can see you on the camera." Are you kidding me? NO ONE came out to pay us any mind whatsoever the whole time. To get the attention of the staff I did everything but throw a hand grenade into the dining room. There was nothing more than a single six-top in the house at 6:30 p.m. on a Wednesday night other than one sorry old drunk in the bar (Wait, folks -- that was the bartender!). If they run the kitchen like they run the front of the house -- forget this joint. It is clearly a dive dump losing effort. They have NO IDEA how to run a dining establishment. There are plenty more Mexican kitchens in Santa Clara County. I'd rate the food but I couldn't get any. I make better Mexican food in my office on a working day.

my family went for dinner less than an hour before closing and service was excellent (we managed to leave right at closing time)!! the waiter serving us was very speedy without rushing us and my chicken fajitas were delicious, 10/10. would definitely come again!

I stop by to get a veggie burrito and I was disappointed with the food. The veggies are not typically what’s in a veggie burrito, who put steamed broccoli and carrots on a burrito? Also, I paid extra for guacamole and there was no guacamole on the burrito. I expected more from this place as it was rated best in silicon valley in 2016 and 2019.

Not edible. Fish tacos smelled like cat food. They no longer make anything homemade anymore. Terrible food and Terrible loud a****** patrons eating there. Bad experience.

Good takeout portions. Appreciate being able to use Apple  Pay to order takeout

After calling over a half dozen local Taqueria's today that were all closed for the holiday (New Years Day) we decided to give La Paloma another try. I ordered the 3 enchiladas plate (beef & chicken) and my wife ordered the carne Asada nachos. All of our food was fresh and delicious! We'll definitely be returning soon

The menu downsized and the food taste real good but once I ate I spent a good portion of my time using the restroom. I took my leftovers home tried them the next day and had to run to the bathroom as soon as the food hut my stomach..... I probably will not eat here again

Went out for our yearly thanksgiving dinner and walaa 3 out of 7 of us disliked our meal. Too many onions. Restaurant was empty yet we had to wait 15 minutes for water. Might return might not. Depends on the company. Overall not impressed.

The food had little flavor. Beans were runny and rice very dry. Tacos are deep fried with little meat and tons of shredded lettuce. Over priced for the quality of food. If you have nothing to compare it to than it’s alright but compared to most Mexican food restaurants I’d say subpar. However our waiter was wonderful.
