Spent a lot of $ for little value. Got 2 veg banh mi sandwiches that were very dry. We tossed them. Got one lemon grass tofu sandwich that was good. Spent $13 for a large taro smoothie that was just ice chips and liquid. I think they forgot to blend it. This is the problem with take out. You can do little once you’ve driven away. But I definitely won’t go back. Have been to other Lees in Southern California and haven’t ever been this disappointed.

I come here like 3 times a week. The sandwiches are always well prepared and the staff is super friendly. Their breakfast sandwiches are bomb.

Super bummed that my experience at the Garden Grove locatiom was not good. Went to order a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich x2. Along with a bunch of other items. They gave us breakfast sandwiches that did not match the photo of the sausage link croissant number 90 sandwich. I asked if they would replace the 2 sandwiches. They said yes. Waited and waited. Went back to ask if the sandwiches were done and they started arguing that they had given us sausage sandwiches. Then I asked why they said they would replace them if they were not going to, and they said very rude about it. I will drop a photo of the sandwich photo below. It didn't make sense why they were so angry and rude about it, especially because what they gave was not sausage. I used to recommend them to families staying at Great Wolf Lodge but do NOT recommend them anymore.
Picked up food to-go about 30 min before close. Ordered a BBQ pork bahn mi and crispy pork bahn mi spring rolls with tamarind and peanut sauces.
Food was pretty decent but was not a crazy wow. I don’t think it tasted super fresh and it could be a reflection of near closing time. The portions were definitely good and ended up saving half my sandwich for tomorrow.
I would certainly try again, maybe for lunch.

Rude! My drink was all ice, I asked to nicely remove ice and add more of the drink. They got mad and said if you don’t like it oh well

I took 4 vege egg rolls today, first time to this store. A little disappointed; vege in my freshly deep fried egg roll is icy cold.

Got there at 6:15pm on Friday. Door was locked and the guy inside just made a signal to tell us they were closed. Google says they close at 7pm, the sign on their window says they close at 8pm.
Good Lee’s Sandwiches location
The sandwiches were great, but I wanted to point out that the DoorDash pricing doesn’t quite add up compared to buying in person.
I ordered a dac biet banh mi on the Grubhub app. On the menu it says the dac biet has pork pate, which I love. But when I got the sandwich there was no pate! While the sandwich was good, the pate makes the banh mi in my book, so I was pretty disappointed. On the app there is an option that lets you add additional pate for $2, but the description says there is already pate in the sandwich, so I didn't think I needed to add additional pate. I feel misled.
I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee. It wasn't bad but a little too sugary and heavy for my tastes.
