I got the strawberry sundae with matcha soft serve, flavor of ice cream was delightful and rich with matcha flavor. There are 2 issues however, 1 is that the spoon is much too deep and very difficult to eat out of. I also wish there was a small size because the normal size is too big.

Great to see some series matcha soft serve ice cream in Valley Fair mall, although I wish they would bring the "less creamy" version back, which had a stronger taste. This is popular place and not that cheap, but portion size is fairly big. They offers lots of toppings for variety. I normally just stick to the basic matcha soft serve for the strongest flavor.

First time getting the kuromitsu kinako! The drink is blended with Japanese black sugar syrup (kuromitsu) with soybean powder (kinako). Definitely do not recommend for people who have soybean allergies. I grew up eating a lot of Vietnamese desserts that have beans, so this drink kind of hits the spot of nostalgia. This drink is very strong in the beans flavor. I would come back to give it a try again since I think this is by far my favorite one. The lines during the weekdays is not as bad as the weekends. It is worth the wait for it. Maiko is located next to Uniqlo and Nordstrom!
No wait on a Monday evening. My friend and I both got the matcha-vanilla swirl mix soft serve on the homemade waffle cone ($6.40 each). I like how they have this swirl flavor bc we felt like it would've been on the heavy side if we got entirely matcha. The vanilla balances it out really well. I loved the cone! It was thin, crispy, sweet, and had a light fragile texture while also holding the soft serve well (clean to eat and didn't drip everywhere). There are a few small tables nearby for seating, but gets filled up quickly. Located right by the Uniqlo and Psycho Donuts. Would come back in the future!

Their Thai tea and green ice cream is top tier once again. This time they really packed us in with the red bean, cake, and jelly on the bottom of the Sundae. This is our go to for matcha close by to San Jose.

Been into matcha lately & stopped by for their matcha soft serve in a cone. The soft serve is so smooth & it wasn't too sweet. The cone added a lil more sweetness to it. The cone is very delicate & pairs well with the matcha flavor. Service was quick & friendly.
