Amazing food! Honestly if your scared to ever take that 1st step in trying Indian food... this is the place for you!! Butter chicken is to indulge with the rice..... When it comes to the sweet tooth it's exactly to expectations! You won't leave with an empty tummy I can assure you this!

My new favorite Indian eatery! Unlimited chai tea in BIG CUPS, gulab juman, and Bollywood music videos...what else could one ask for? We found this place on a Saturday afternoon after a City Library run. Bombay Gardens, Santa Clara was the spot until they closed and then reopened under a different name. Every dish I sampled from the buffet was totally delicious. The woman who appeared to be 'In Charge' was completely in charge of the dining room and ensured that water and naan were replenished often. Very comfortable and clean restaurant.

I don't know why I haven't tried this place before. Food is great and service is excellent! The papads are a tasty appetizer followed by veggie platter. When we ordered a side dish, we didn't realize it came with rice and so we also ordered naan. Pretty filling and tasty overall. The ambience is great too!

This was the first place I had lunch at when I moved to the city and must I say they blew my mind with the variety of food and flavors. I loved everything they fancily displayed with their beautiful vessel covers. The staff was so nice to bring us fresh puris and rotis at our table and refilled our drinks so politely. I was a great experience.

For the first time in America, tasted original Butter Chicken which we get in India. Super taste and all stars for butter chicken. Tandoori Chicken in the curry is so juicy and the sauce is so creamy. Naan and Butter chicken must try, specially if you are fan of Indian style butter chicken.

Goat curry, Biryani, was bad. Gulab jamun was also bad. Butter chicken was good. Naan was good.

I decided to try the buffet here since I like Indian food and the place I planned to go to shut down. The decor is really nice here with comfortable seats here and some paintings. On the television they had old Bollywood musicals on which was enjoyable, with vocals featuring Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. The buffet has many items in copper pots with lids.if you get there when no one else is there they help you with the lids; after the groups come they leave them off. Not everything for the buffet is out at the same time. There was a featured dish with chicken and spicy sauce which was put out last.It was quite tasty. The dish with ground lamb was quite good well and well seasoned.it is spicy, but they are always ready to refill the water. The chicken was good but be careful for bits of bone;otherwise well made. The pakoras were crunchy and tasty. For dessert on this day was the gulab jamun, kheer, and fresh fruit, which was ripe. The service was attentive and polite. It really has a nice dining atmosphere.

Tried their buffet. It was okay. Some items were good but not all are good. Service is good. Lots of items.

The lunch buffet has a good variety of choices, including vegetarian dishes. Tandoori chicken, in particular, are very delicious. Generous offering of Naan provided by servers. I deduct one star because of the price: $16.99 for lunch buffet and $5 for the mango lassi.

We came here for lunch after visiting the library. It was a buffet and was fairly empty. The food was pretty good, the lamb curry is great and most of the other non-veg items were good. The veg options is pretty vast but I'm not the best judge so I'll refrain from commenting on the quality. Overall the place is very pleasant and would recommend a visit.

I bought my family here for Christmas Eve, we ended up being the last people to leave the restaurant. Customer service was exceptional. My daughter was nervous ordering from a menu we didn't understand, but the server (Who I believe was the owner) explained the menu to her and made recommendations (which ended up being excellent). Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The portions were large, presentation was excellent, and the sauces/spices were delightful. If we are ever near San Francisco again this place will be our first stop!

All in all the food is really tasty, customer service was memorably bad- but, I just want people to watch out for all of the bone shards (bone fragments) in the food. Almost did some damage the first time, second time I was ready, 3rd & 4th times I started to wonder if I've never had real Indian cuisine before today and spent the rest of my meal googling. I didn't talk to the servers or management because they are not approachable. So for the owners/ upper managment, sorry, and to clarify, it was all the chicken dishes (including the rice), and I'm not talking bones, but small shards of bone. Why the 3 stars? The food was actually good enough that after all that... I'd come back!
