It's been renewed and opened. The name has changed. I've never been there before, so I can't compare the taste, but I enjoyed it very much. I ordered bossam, sundae soup, and mixed soup. I ordered everything like this... I cleared everything except a little bit of bossam~!!It's been a while since I had really delicious Korean food.ㆍThe amount of mixed fish soup looks small because I took a picture while eating it, but we shared it with a family of 4.Enough amount~Good good!!

The best Soondaeguk in bay area. Side dishes are so good too.

Good selection. Bo ssam was excellent. Lots of boiled pork thinly sliced. Kalbitang was good. A fair amount of beef. It could have been better in a stone bowl to keep the soup warm. The seafood pancake was crispy made with a lot of different seafood. All in all, this is a pretty good place. I will try a different selection next time.

Soup is authentic & delicious but service was slow since they only had 2-3 servers. Banchan was ok..

Local and authentic Korean restaurant experience specializing in traditional Korean plates focused around delicious meats, stews, and other offerings. This is a traditional restaurant and not a do-it-yourself barbecue place. However, we were really impressed with the local vibe and the meats that came out on sizzling cast iron skillets. This is clearly a local favorite. The servers were initially curious if we were lost when we arrived. There are a few tables and it’s not ultra crowded but it is an intimate setting. No outdoor seating and everything is inside. The kitchen is nearby and you can see everything. The food was delicious. I’d recommend the beef bulgogi or the short ribs. They were some of the best I’ve ever had. It can be a bit pricy, but worth it. Definitely get a side of rice as well. They give you tea, Korean appetizers, and sauces to go with your meal.If you want to try a traditional and authentic Korean restaurant, I’d recommend checking this place out. It was intimate, authentic, and didn’t take itself too seriously while offering excellent food!

There's a lot of offal dishes that you would be hard pressed to find in the south bay. For example, the blood sausage in the form of different dishes is unique and they manage to make it not too grainy. I love how the vermicelli inside just explodes when it's soup and bulges out. So funny. The variety of grilled innards is nice and none of it tastes too gamey. Large, large selection of shareable soup and casserole dishes as well. The regular apps (anything under that section on the menu) like the seafood pancake and mandu are just alright.

Enjoyed a spicy soondae soup, which wasn't particularly spicy, but was tasty nonetheless, in a combo with extra sundae and cheek meat, The soondae was OK - def better as part of the soup. Service was excellent. Parking was a nightmarer - there are not enough spots, and the other half of the stip mall is covered with tow signs (and, no car, so they must mean it).
Parking: Maybe 20 spaces, and a crowded sports bar next door mean almost no parking availability at dinner time.

The staff was kind, and the food I ordered today was braised short ribs and stir-fried squid. The taste was good, and I packed the leftovers and brought them home.I liked the compressed packaging.

So bad lol and soondubu (spicy tofu stew) is $25???? Nah. Mool Naengmyun was good though., bibim naengmyun was way too sour and thick
Invited friends over to have dinner at this place. They really liked it. The staff were friendly, polite, and caring. They kept letting us know that the pots, grill and the plates they were serving were hot. The grilled pork/beef intestines were delicious and went very well with soju (jinro blue bottle) and ???. We also ordered the pork bone soup which fed all four of us with huge pieces, the broth was really good especially when paired with a bowl of rice. The fried chicken was okay, crispy and tasty but they could serve a little spicy sweet sauce on the side. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the food and the service. Will be back for more to try on more things on their menu. ?????

Tried their beef intestine combo for the first time. Exceeded expectation. Side dishes are very authentic too.
