I've visited this market twice and I really enjoy the fresh fish, and the customer service there. I was served by the owner the first time and by Miss. T the 2nd time. Both of them were extremely nice. The fish was fresh and the price was right. This has become my favorite fish market around the neighborhood. Keep up the great work! You guys are awesome!!!!

Wow...I can't believe it's taken me this long to come to this market. Came to buy live dungeness crabs (which were super lively and active) but ended up also purchasing Manila clams, black gill rockfish and king salmon collars. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. Prices were comparable to what you would find in a supermarket but the quality is unsurpassed.

Quick great service and got a high quality fresh fish for LNY! What more could you ask for?? I ended up with a red snapper that was just over a pound. Street parking was easy but I will say you could easy miss this gem because it's small but if you see the autoshop you're in the right place! Will definitely return for any fresh seafood!

Celebrating your birthday during a pandemic is...well...not fun. I had originally planned to go to K & C Wholesale to buy oysters, but my laziness scrapped that plan. Plus, buying 60 Kumamoto oysters just for myself would probably have ended poorly. Luckily, Neves Fish Market is just down the street from my house. I bought the remaining 3 dozen oysters they had in stock. And then, my friend, I ate them all. Super fresh. Very reasonable. I'd call that a successful birthday, pandemic or not.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff is always ready to help. Best selection of fresh seafood I've found. I get Salted Cod here, it can be difficult to find. They have a good selection which is something I haven't seen anywhere else. I call ahead since I need a large quantity, they've never had a problem filling my order the same day I call. If there's a family business that could use local support, it's Neves. Please let's show our support!

I got the freshest and tastiest local caught Dungeness crab here. Highly recommend stopping in. They also have lots of wines and Portuguese goodies.

Dang, there's some good, fresh fish at this place! I only started coming here in November 2020, but since then I've only ever had amazing fish! 1. Oysters: pretty bangin'. 2. Salmon: very nice. 3. Sea Bass: perfect and beautiful strip of fat that just melted right off. MMM! 4. Branzini: so good on the grill! 5. sushi-grade Tuna: even better poke bowls at home than what you can get in the store. 6. I JUST got some crab, and I haven't eaten them yet, but those things are feisty! It's really stunning how much of a difference fresh fish can make. That stuff you get at the local supermarket? Nowhere near as good as this stuff.

Didn't know what to expect but was on the hunt for Norwegian cod to make our family's Mexican style bacalao for the holidays. My Portuguese friend recommended we try Neves since her family have all been long time customers. For the bacalao there was tons to select from, with and without bones, from Norway, Canada and more. The gentleman working the shop, who I believe is an owner, was knowledgeable, super kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back! Thanks Neves Fish Market!
