Pier 76 Café at California’s Great America was a major disappointment, and I’m giving it a 1-star review. I waited in line for about 20 minutes, only to be served cold, poorly cooked fries that tasted like they had been sitting out for way too long. They were soggy, flavorless, and honestly felt like an afterthought. For the price and the wait, I expected at least something fresh and decent, but this missed the mark completely. It really brought down the overall park experience for me—definitely not a place I’d return to or recommend.

The rotisserie chicken here is very good. Unfortunately the staff was very disorganized. We came early at 5pm and was told the chicken would be ready by 5:30. Note that they close at 6! Apparently the cook went out so the 30 chickens (good for 60 platters) were just waiting to be cut. Eventually the chicken came out, but what was the most annoying was that they gave the first batches to the last in line and we ended up to be served last but had been waiting for the longest... 5:52pm.

Thinner crust pizza, was actually crispy, not soggy. Pretty good mac and cheese and waffle fries. Get an entree and side with the food pass. No salt and pepper. Located within the waterpark area. $20 beer.
