I was excited to try this restaurant because it advertises Chicago deep dish pizza, but what I received was not true deep dish — it was more like a standard pan pizza. Deep dish should have a buttery crust pressed up the sides with layers of cheese, toppings in the middle(pie like), and chunky sauce on top. Instead, my pizza was a regular pan style, and unfortunately, the dough wasn’t fully cooked, leaving it raw and doughy in the center.
I was really looking forward to an authentic Chicago-style experience, but this fell short. I hope the restaurant can clarify the difference in their menu and work on improving the bake time/temperature for their pan pizzas.
Pizza is also pretty pricey here, I was charged $35 for a Pan pizza, and not a Chicago deep dish style pizza. Compare these pizzas to Patxis or Blue Line Pizza and my review will make sense to you.

This is a review by a customer who has been eating here for over 20 years. This used to be my absolute favorite pizza place in the Bay Area and I’ve had the worst food and customer service experience now that the management has changed. I was delivered almost inedibly undercooked pizza that cost me over $83 and I called the store right away. I was told they could make the pizza but couldn’t deliver it although I paid $16 for delivery. I called two days later and requested a refund - no response by manager till now. I basically had to pay $80 for a pizza that was not baked even close to enough - and the person on the phone, I think said sorry I can’t do anything - just keep waiting for a manager to call you. Seriously ? Wow - farewell after 20* years. Tragic.

We ordered a deep dish 1/2 Hawaiian and 1/2 Combo Medium for 2 people. It was delicious and fresh. The server was very attentive and refilled our soda.

We've been getting pizza from Pizza Chicago for over 30 years. This time, we got a Joliet Jake with chicken. The flavor was good. The issue was the crust. We get thin crust because we like crunchy crust. This one was soft and soggy. It should have been cooked 3-5 minutes longer.
