We've been getting pizza from Pizza Chicago for over 30 years. This time, we got a Joliet Jake with chicken. The flavor was good. The issue was the crust. We get thin crust because we like crunchy crust. This one was soft and soggy. It should have been cooked 3-5 minutes longer.
Visiting from Ohio and in the mood for pizza. Even though they mostly advertise Chicago style, we prefer thin crust and it was excellent. Our waiter, Eric, was friendly and provided great service.
We ordered online to dine in.
The Good: Food was perfectly timed and service was impecable. Our waiter checked on us frequently. Great job!
TheNotSoGood: We noticed a slight change in the pizza. Crust seems thicker than before. We've been frequenting PizzaChicago since late 80's. They no longer have garlic fries, and their garlic breads are just dried herbs on butterred breads.
Take away: A little dissapointed, but we'll be back for nostalgic...
