We waited probably around 35-40 minutes but the line moves fast and they come to you in line to have you fill out an order sheet and explain it to you, you're in and out pretty quickly
They only have 5 options (Original, Spicy, Black, Green, and Veggie), I chose veggie and it was very tasty with a cauliflower and mushroom based broth and spinach and mushroom added in along with two large potato hashbrown patties in place of pork
I got spicy level 2 (on the sheet options) and also added the sesame seasoned bean sprouts they provide at the table and it was perfect.

I recently discovered this amazing ramen spot, and I have to say—pairing ramen with hash browns was such a surprising and delightful twist! It’s something I never expected, but it totally works. If you’re vegetarian and looking to try ramen for the first time, this place is an absolute must-visit. The flavors are rich, comforting, and thoughtfully crafted. Highly recommend!

Veggie ramen is amazing! The potato hashbrown and mushrooms are so yummy. There have been off days so it isn't consistently amazing but for the most part it's been great. There's always a long line so be prepared to wait anywhere from 1 hour to 20 minutes.

Worth the hype, spicy ramen (noodles= get the original not the thin one that look like thin spaghetti) chefs kiss add an egg.

Tried the black one but prefer the spicy.

Line/ it’s long on a weekday too so wear comfy Shoes, wish the restaurant would allow yelp reservations or something.

Cute place!

The OG and our fav in San Jose @ramennagiusa in Valley Fair Mall. These guys have it down to a science. The lines are long, but move quickly. They hand you a sheet to check off what you want while you wait in line, noodle thickness, spiciness, condiments… Choose your broth, green is a basil garlic oil, red spicy and black- squid ink for a dark broth. I’m a traditionalist and always get their original tonkotsu broth. Pork cha shu or kakuni (thin slices or chunks) I like the cubes of pork belly and theirs is melt in your mouth tender 👍 on each table is a condiment jar filled with seasoned bean sprouts. Don’t skip them! So good and it’s complimentary! Their broth is on point. Ramen egg is jammy 👍 it’s also extra, but worth it. Chicken karaage solid. If I’m looking for ramen near me, this is my first choice. But by all means Marufuku and Tsujita are great options! #noodles #ramen #bowlfoodissoulfood #3jamigos #eater #southbayeats #tsujitasj #ramennagi #porkbelly #valleyfair

I’d heard about this ramen spot from a lot of people, so since I was in the San Jose area for a Metallica concert, I decided to finally check it out. We got to the mall about 15 minutes before the restaurant opened, and there was already a line forming outside. We decided to wait it out.

While we were in line, an employee came out and handed everyone paper menus with markers, letting us know to mark our selections and give them to the staff when we were seated. At exactly 11 a.m., they began seating guests. The process was smooth and quick, but the restaurant is pretty small—so I was glad we arrived early and got seated right away.

The food came out fairly quickly, though ours took a bit longer than others for some reason. A larger group that sat after us actually got their food first. Still, I didn’t mind the wait too much since I was fascinated watching the kitchen staff work behind the counter.

As for the ramen—it was solid. Tasty and well-prepared. But honestly, I think I’ve become a bit of a ramen snob. It didn’t quite live up to all the hype I’d heard. I probably wouldn’t make a special trip just for this spot again, but if I’m ever at the mall, there's no line, and I’m in the mood for ramen, I might give it another try.

Overall, it’s a decent spot, but I wouldn’t wait more than 30 minutes for it.

Hands down, the best ramen I’ve had in the United States! The flavors are rich, authentic, and incredibly satisfying. They offer amazing options for both vegetarians and meat lovers, which is rare to find at this quality.

The only downside is the long wait in the queue, but honestly—it’s worth every minute. Pro tip: arrive early to avoid the crowd and get seated faster. Also, note that they don’t offer takeout, so make sure you plan to dine in.

If you’re a ramen fan, Ramen Nagi is a must-visit. Top-notch experience all around!

Food is over rated here not worth waiting one hour here when you have better options such as Momosan and HiroNori. Atmosphere is like rush rush. Wait for an hour to seat, eat, pay and go. You can't place an another order of you need more or you dislike your ramen.

Not much seating so had to line up for a while but it was pretty worth it. Pretty good broth and their chef’s recommendation Thin noodles are actually really thin unlike what I expected.

I often wonder what it is that I am missing when there is always a line out the door (our wait was 40 minutes on a Thursday at 1:30pm the day before 4th July). We are regulars of ramen restaurants, and the ramen here is ... fine! What's great is that while we waited in line, there was an enthusiastic greeter who walked us through a paper order form to fully customize the ramen experience. You can see the form in the attached photos. Inside, people are seated tightly next to other guests on the same tables (which is fine). Okay, having said all that, back to the ramen - look, to be honest, it's not better than the local ramen place near our house that doesn't have a line out the door. So, maybe you try and judge for yourself. We'll probably give it another in the future. For a mall restaurant, it was fairly affordable.

Tip: ask what their off-menu items are for the day. We had a crunchy fried chicken that was quite good.

There is always a line for this ramen shop. I've been to the Palo Alto location as well and it's the same situation.

Dinner time on a Tuesday, the line isn't bad and it felt like we didn't wait too long (probably 15 mins). Before you get in, there is a staff that goes to the line, gives you a paper menu and a marker, and shows you a picture of what the ramen looks like. She was nice and gave an explanation of what the broth looks like. In line, I asked about a second slip for a To-go order and she said the server will help me inside. My friend asked about the vegetarian broth but if substituting some stuff like the cabbage or green onion will cost extra. She was not really clear about it.

We got seated and my friend asked about the substitution. Long story short, it would cost extra. I asked about to-go order and they said they don't do to-go orders but they have to-go containers so I would have to order a new set and box it up myself. Fine I guess. We didn't have our own water jug and we were the only one we didn't have one and it seems like we were frequently ignored.

In terms of the ramen, it's fine. It tasted good but I wouldn't wait in line for it to be quite honest. There are better ramen spots in town that have less of a line. A great one I usually recommend is the ramen shop inside of Mitsua marketplace. There are sets and it comes with sides so it feels like a complete meal.

Overall if the line is very short, I would go for this ramen shop, but I would not recommend not waiting in line for this

Great Ramen, was not disappointed at all. The line to wait is long, but thats to be expected when a restaurant has great food. We were in and out in 30 minutes and the food was delivered to the table quickly. We would definitely go again, but there is also a couple other Ramen places close by that we would like to try.

They forgot some ingredients I have marked on the paper. Ramen is pretty average? Don't get the hype. Was there during non-peak hours and waited 30mins. Definitely wouldn't recommend going to this place with an empty stomach. Have something small before otherwise wait up to 1-2 hours to get a table during peak hours.
