This place used to be our favourite to have samosas and Bengali sweets until few years ago
Over a period of time the quality has been going from bad to worse. Today, again I bought some samosas, rasmalai and dodha burfi after a gap of almost a year hoping that it may have improved.
Very very disappointed with the quality of samosa and sweets...$50 was in drain.
We ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! 🎂 It was made fresh, and the chunks of pineapple were incredible — juicy, sweet, and full of flavor. 🍍 The team even wrote our birthday message and name beautifully in Punjabi, just as we requested. 💛
We regularly order cakes for all our special occasions, and the quality, freshness, and beautiful designs are always outstanding! 🎂🍍

Though the sweets and snacks are tasty and well made the pricing isn't justified. Also have noticed that person at the counter doesn't hand over the bill receipt unless you specifically ask for it (probably it is done deliberately so that you don't notice the high prices. Also, prices aren't displayed).

Like the various snacks however freshness is questionable. The should make effort to be transparent about date when sweets/snacks were made and add a tag for best before date for each tray. For a shop focused on sweets this seems must.

They serve cold samosas for $2.5 per piece. They don’t even offer to warm those up. And charge $3 extra for putting one piece of sweet in a transparent plastic box (which they call as a gift box).

We got assorted sweets. Most of the sweets tasted very old. You can see the racks and racks of ladoos in the refrigerator, how freshly can they be ?

I recently bought Saffron Sandesh and some snacks from this shop, and unfortunately, everything tasted really bad.
The quality has gone down drastically compared to last time when we had purchased sweets here, they didn’t taste this bad back then.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend buying anything from this shop. It was really disappointing.

The food and sweets are good quality. The store has managed to maintain the standard for a very long time. It is a tad bit on the pricier side.

First of all they don’t want to speak English. They expect everyone to speak Hindi. Cakes are so expensive and they are not accommodative. $100 for a birthday cake is ridiculous. Also while speaking they abruptly cut the call.

Piece of sweet junk of a place that sells Indian sweets are almost inedible. Bought black gulab jamun and they were as impossible to bite into. Got hernia as a result. Ugh. Pass

This place is a ripoff!
The quality is OK - not much better than frozen haldiram mithai you can get for much cheaper. That is only if you’re lucky since a lot of stuff they keep around seems to be stale. I bought a few things - half were fresh half were clearly stale.
Prices are absurdly high - it is 3-4 times regular shops charge. On top of this they employ this classic ploy where they do not prominently display prices on their products - there is no sticker - the snacks counters have no prices on them/ next to them. It is not difficult to display prices next to the food ( if you want to) . The prices are displayed on a tv in one corner gradually and it is hard to tell what costs what. I bought a bunch of stuff thinking to myself - “ how much can this cost?” . Later when I checked the receipt I was shocked. $17.99 / lb for “fresh” paneer! Not to mention, This was objectively worse (hard and rubbery) than regular store bought fresh paneer which costs $5.99 / lb across the road in ICC. But even if it was better - 3 times as much!!! and again no price tag where the paneer is kept displayed. Most people probably fall for this classic tactic!
Make sure to ask/check pricing before you buy here. I am NOT going back there again!

We bought Gud Sandesh, Pedha yesterday fo celebrate one of life event. Regret it.
Something is definitely wrong with all 3 type of sweets that I bought. Don’t want to be harsh but it does not hold up to the expectations.
