My daughter heard about Rita's on social media so we gave it a try. It's really all about the frozen custard and Italian ice. Everything else we tried was...okay.Honestly, the concrete is basically an expensive McFlurry. The flavors were milder than influencers made it out to be. I was expecting tart, bold flavors.Their signature treat would be great on a hot summer day.

I really enjoyed the custard, but because of the out of season fruits depending on when you go the Italian ices won't be as good in flavor. It has a nice atmosphere very similar to a Baskin Robins. You can sample the flavors before buying so don't be afraid to try things!

If you haven't tried Rita's mango gelati, you're missing out! I'd been seeing the gelati all over social media for a while now. So glad I finally tried it! I've come here three times now, and I order the gelati (mango) every time! It is one of my favorite desserts ever and I HIGHLY recommend it. There's a reason it's their most popular order!I've always had a wonderful experience at this Rita's location. The staff has been very friendly and quick each time, and this Rita's is located in a little plaza, so I've always been able to find parking as well. Such a great spot to visit after lunch or dinner when you're in the mood for a sweet treat! Can't wait to return soon!

Ahhh the amount of love I have for Rita's is just too much to describe. I used to have a go to Italian ice place when I lived in another area, but now that I'm back in the South Bay I was on the hunt to find a place that would satisfy my Italian ice craving and luckily I found it! Rita's has all sorts of flavors and what's fun is that they usually rotate flavors. Of course if you have a favorite flavor and it rotates out you'll just have to wait for it to come back (hopefully!). The staff is always so nice and so quick! Sometimes when I go the line is long and when I blink I'm already next in line. I usually get the gelati because you get Italian ice and the custard. The inside is pretty small. I wish there was more seating inside, but honestly on summer nights it's nice to sit outside. Check online for what flavors they have for the day or call the store directly! Enjoy your Rita's!

Saturday, Oct 21st, - LOCKED DOORS at 8 pm with the “OPEN” sign on and two signs on the door saying they were open until 10pm. The clerk behind the counter just gave us a dirty look when we tried to open the door, then ignored us. No explanation for closing TWO HOURS early.

So many choices, it was almost overwhelming! We settled on the apple pie concrete which is essentially custard blended with toppings. I was very impressed with how creamy and soft it was. I am a bit sensitive to sweets, so I had to share a small as it is definitely a very sweet treat. But so worth it!

It's a big ice cream shop with a lot of tables and room to sit. Also with many options, including Italian shaved ice. The pumpkin ice cream was flavorful and creamy. The cookie dough topping was a bit much, ended up regretting it a bit since it was too sweet. Then unfortunately it took a long time to process the payment. The transaction did not go through and the card was entered manually for payment. Definitely an unpleasant experience for the delay. But the customer service was great, they were trying to do their best with the situation.

Blown away of how good this frozen custard parlor was. I haven't tried there Italian ice but it's definitely popular since every person who came in ordered one. My son got the cotton candy frozen custard, my daughter and I shared a spumoni frozen custard and my husband got the chocolate mud slide. Everything was great and not so sweet! Loved every single bite. Definitely will be coming back and the staff were nice and offered to try and sample the flavors. The parlor is nothing too big or fancy. It's one of the in and out spots. The only thing that bothered me was there interior decor. Just didn't like to the look of paint coming off and crooked picture prints & ac unit that needs a little cleaning of dust bunnies. Overall the place is great and would definitely recommend to our friends & family.

Rita's hits the spot when I'm craving Italian ice, but unfortunately, the only flavor I like is the mango ice. I've sampled several other flavors, but they all taste too artificial and are super sweet. The mango is the least sweet of the ones I've had. I always get a small gelati with mango ice and vanilla custard. The small is plenty!! I do like that there's custard under the ice as well as on top because the richness of the custard helps balance out the sweetness. They also serve pup cups at this location, which my dog enjoyed. Workers are helpful with letting you sample and constructing your order quickly. They have some indoor seating as well as a couple chairs outside. Definitely will be back when I need an Italian ice fix.

Great alternative to the old boring icecream. Flavors for the Italian ice were on point and the custard even better. Service is one of the best.

I first visited Rita's in Pittsburgh and I've been craving the frozen custard ever since July. At first I thought it was an east coast chain or something, but to my surprise I found there are so many Bay Area locations. I just had to visit this one in Santa Clara - so close to home! Unlike the Rita's I visited in the east coast, this Rita's has an actual storefront where you can sit and enjoy your dessert. All the custard flavors are on display like an ice cream shop which makes it easy to choose what flavor you want. I visited around lunchtime and the store was pretty empty. The server at the counter was also very nice and friendly. I absolutely love the vanilla frozen custard, so I ordered that again. It was just like what I had before - so creamy and delicious, not too sweet! Their quality is definitely quite consistent between stores. Now that I know there's a Rita's so close by to me, I will be back to try some other custard flavors!
