little brother of chungdam, Mix Combo $235 can feed a group of 5 with Beef brisket, beef belly, marinaded longrib, pork jowl, porkbelly, add in a seafood pajeon and you're set. good panchan like the fried tofu. now don't need to spend a lot like 10 butchers

Down the street from 10butchers, not as high end as that place but also a bit cheaper as well. A waiter will be with you at all times to cook for you. A little bit Smokey but the food was great. A tight but cozy place, bright and full of life. We got the beef combo with steamed egg and seafood pancake. Also came with various side dishes that complement the meat really well. Off to the food review! 4/5 - Beef combo - the brisket and chuck flap was off the charts good however the last meat which was marinated was not up the standard. Sadly I expected a more grilled or tenderness from it, but with how much marination it came it, the waiter was just cooking it in the marinated which became more of a stewed meat. Just chewy and not much flavor 5/5 -Steamed egg - My first thought was there is KO way any steamed egg is worth this price. I was pleasantly surprised with the soufflé size egg bowl with roe on top. Soft, and fluffy goodness that is worth every penny 3.8/5 - Seafood pancake - This was nicely fried and crispy with some seafood and onions in it. I've had better ones else where but this still hits the spot if you are craving one

My birthday dinner was planned here and they crammed such a large party in a small space. we barely had room to eat... also the meat seemed so chewy! Even if we cooked it at the right timing for everything. The servers seemed attentive at first and then disappeared after a while and we kept needing them. I had a good time with friends and family but we probably would choose a different restaurant for a large party next time. Large parties are a challenge, so thank you to this place for having us!! we just wish there was an option for higher quality meat.

Wanted to do KBBQ AYCE before my surgery and though, we couldn't find an AYCE place, we found Seorai. They do have BBQ options but those are not the AYCE. We tried their lunch special combos; LA Galbi and Pork Cutlet with tofu soups. Came out beautifully! What a feast! The soups were delicious! The LA Galbi was yummy as usual but nothing really outstanding. Pork Cutlet with the curry sauce tasted good, sis said. I don't eat pork so i don't know what to exactly say but it looked good! We ordered spicy buckwheat noodles on the side for sharing and honestly, it was blah! I would say that they should pay more attention to the dressing! Their side dishes are bomb! They tasted fresh and deli! Also, it's unlimited! What a steal! Hehe. (it is unlimited but remember to be friendly to the business, my friends!) Service was kind and welcoming! Definitely, on the pricy side but worth trying! You wouldn't regret! Ambiance is spacious and clean! I will come back if i happen to be in Santa Clara once again!

Seorai Korean bbq opened 3 years ago. In my opinion it's one of the best Korean bbq restaurants in the Bay! My uncle and I ordered the beef combo, and we were stuffed, especially considering the fact that we didn't eat breakfast before going in. So, I would say that the beef combo is perfect for 2 hungry people. They also offer free rice as well as sides like kimchi. The food is absolutely delicious. They serve highly quality meats which you can definitely taste. My uncle also ordered kimchi soup which he said was delicious. The restaurant is very clean, and they even have chopsticks and spoons in transparent packaging. I really liked how the staff cook everything for you. I've only seen this in K Town in LA. Overall highly recommend it!

Favorite Korean bbq in the Bay Area. So glad I found Seorai. I've been twice now and both times were perfect. Their marinaded galbi in bone is so tender and marinaded just right. Their pork belly is thick and the slight char makes every bite more delicious. Their meats are fresh and they cook for you, so you can just enjoy the food and plentiful banchans. Service is fast. Ventilation is good. Their kimchi pancake is so good! They even have a good mix of sakes, sojus and soju cocktails. Anyway, this is now my go to even if I have to drive 40 minutes.

Have been waiting to try this place and did not disappoint. Ordered the beef combo with the seafood pancake and was more than enough food for two people, we even took some to go.

seorai is related to chungdam, but with a broader menu with drinking in mind...along with the korean bbq for the grill, serving dukbokee, korean fried chicken, korean army stew, cheesy corn and more...a weekend lunch visit, so mainly here for the kbbq...2 families with 4 adults and 3 children...taking the mix combo with both beef and pork $235...choice of kimchi or dwenjang stew including...taking a seafood pancake $19 to start...both water and tea carafes provide to self-pour...plenty of banchan (sides) coming out first...rice cake wraps, pickled radish wraps, kimchi, fishcakes, pickled jalapeno slices, sprouts and a beef stir-fry also included in the sides...korean sauce similar to samba...some lettuce leaves for additional wrapping...tangy and sweet dressed onion slices too...sesame oil with salt and samjang for each person...rice complimentary...ready to eat and seafood coming out as the starting appetizer...large, thick and crispy outer...very good...huge platter of meat arriving...starting with the quick cooking brisket followed by the beef belly meat...both excellent and a great start...long marinated rib bone with meat on next...meat is carefully sliced off from the bone and grilled...sweet, tender and delicious...children's favorite...switching to a grill and finishing off with pork belly and pork jowl...selected the dwenjang jjigeh (korean miso stew) to wash down all the meat....roughly $330 total paying after tax and tip...

Was craving kbbq one night and decided to try Seorai out! It was good, but definitely on the pricier side. I tried the brisket, beef belly, marinated long rib, and steamed egg. The brisket was just okay - the quality wasn't that good, but the beef belly and long rib were delicious! Our server recommended the long rib to us since it's their special and it was very tender and flavorful. The steamed egg was nice and fluffy and the meal came with many sides. The service was really good and quick. It was nice that they cooked everything for us.

I was there last Saturday with my family for dinner. I gave two stars just because of this one waitress. Luckily, when we went in, someone canceled the reservation, so we got seated right away. We ordered our food, and when she brought our pork combo, she told me to move aside so she could cook. I asked her politely if we could just grill the meat since my kids were picky. She kind of gave little attitude and left. Other waiter and waitress came and checked to see if we were OK and if fire was good. I buzzed the call for service, and the waitress with attitude came, and I ordered spicy noodles and a bottle of soju. When she brought a soju, I noticed that I needed more jalapeños, so I apologize for not asking it at the same time with soju, and she sighed as I asked for more. I waited and waited and waited. As I was waiting, I happened to contact eyes with the waiter, and he asked what I needed and I asked for more jalapeños and he brought it out instantly. Our family don't eat out often but we like the food at this restaurant but we will not be returning anymore due to this waitress behavior. If it wasn't for her, I would have given 5 stars and recommended to other people who are looking for a good K-Bbq spot. I hope management read this review and retrain this waitress with poor service skill.

i wanna go back here sauuuurrrr bad but I live hella far bruh . i been here twice, both times with a group of 5 . the mixed combo that we ordered each time was more than enough food for all of us . the kimchi stew was so SHMACK . all of the workers were so friendly too :D

Make a reservation ahead of time. You will thank me later! Too much gaming by joining the wait list ahead of time. They are never accurate and you could miss your time if your table is ready ahead of the estimated time. They grill the meat for you. They also change the metal grill pan for different type of meat! Beef combo: 4.5/5. It is not enough for 3 adults. I would recommend to order something else on the side. The beef was very tender. The stew had quite a lot of beef in it too! Seafood pancake: 3/5. A lot of seafood, but the pancakes were not crispy enough. Overall, it is a great place for Korean BBQ. We were limited to 1.5 hours.
