The food came completely leaking, I called the restaurant the lady was right off the bat defensive and very rude- saying it’s not their fault and offered no solution. As a Korean, there are better Korean restaurants than this in terms of taste and service.

The service was great initially, then it went down hill from there towards the end. Pricey place and I am not sure why she was so grumpy 🤔, but you are in the service industry so be nice and smile, no shitty attitude to your paying customers. They charge for food containers if you do not finish your food. They charge a dollar for a dirty container, ask politely for a cleaner container, they get pissy pants about it. Maybe they should be paid on a commission base.

Be careful! They try to rip you off!! We ordered Kimchi stew for two people which was $60. They asked us if we wanted multigrain rice so we said yes. We also order pork cutlet($22) which usually comes with rice but it didn’t come with rice so we asked “doesn’t this dish come with rice?” And they said “yes, do you want multigrain rice?” And again we said sure. At the end, the total came to be bit more than we expected so we asked for an itemized receipt( they first don’t give you itemized receipt). We found out that they charged us $6+ tax for 3 rice when all of our dishes were supposed to come with rice. Then they told us that the multigrain rice is extra charge… I’m Korean and have been to many other restaurants and usually they don’t charge for multigrain rice and when they do an extra charge, they ask you when you order…!!! and even if they do it’s like a dollar. Not $6+ for three free rice we were supposed to get. I don’t think I will go back to a place that’s ready to intentionally rip you off.

Prices hiked. $20 & more? Omg. No wonder not many diners there. Ordered Haejang soup dish, and it was so salty. Couldn't finish it even with a bowl of steamed rice. Saw the lid of spice on the floor next to our table. Hopefully, they washed it before putting it back.

Perfect soup for a cold winter day. Rich beef flavor and lots of meat. Do be aware that the soup is unsalted and thus they give you salt on the side.
I ordered takeout and it came with all the necessary sides (scallion, salt, radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, some kind of spicy scallion sauce?, rice, noodles). However, I will say that the kimchi leaned more on the sweet side instead of savory like hanbat in LA (whose kimchi is divine), which is not my personal favorite. But thats a matter of personal preference so no points docked for that.
There is also a bit of a language barrier between us and the staff but otherwise very friendly and quick service, would reccommend.

Be aware of restaurant tempering with your final receipt. This restaurant changed the number on tip even though over 20% tip was left. Never going back here. Let’s do business honestly. Or close down the business.

We were hungry after gaming and looking for a spot open late. Although we got there near closing the aunties working there were so kind. They helped us decide what to eat. The chicken bulgogi wasn't too spicy and the galbi tang was perfect for a cold night. The kind aunty even helped us separate the bones off the galbi. Will definitely recommend to people!

After reading the bad reviews, I thought for a long time about whether I should come here or not. But since it was very late and this was the closest restaurant, I decided to give it a try and have my favorite beef soup.
To my surprise, I really liked everything here. Yes, it was 9 PM, and there was no one in the dining area, but the soup was very, very tasty, and I will definitely come here again. The portion was large, everything was fresh. I really liked it all. Thank you very much.
