SomiSomi is hands down one of the best dessert spots! The soft serve is perfectly creamy and not overly sweet, and the warm fishshaped waffle cone makes it even better. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back!
We usually love Somi Somi and other locations have great service. Tell me why the folks working on Sunday 2/15 at 2:45pm had the worst attitude.
We did not recieve a receipt nor an update on where to pick up our order. No one else was in line and Katie proceeded to tell our party of 7 to get into the line barrier. Then proceeded to talk about our party to her co-workers. I am a parent with 6 other children. Patience and helpfulness for customers would made our experience more memorable.
Please conduct some additional training on how customers are supposed to be treated while working food retail services.
Good place.
Their desserts are truly unique and delightful. We tried the Taiyaki in two flavors: black sesame and hotteok, and both were delicious.
Black sesame taiyaki is really good
Fish-shaped ice cream has always been one of my favorite treats on a hot day. The fish-shaped waffle cone, filled with all kinds of fillings—from red bean and black sesame to hazelnut—is flipped upside down over scoops of ice cream, making it look absolutely adorable. The fresh ice cream itself is delicious, with a wide range of flavors like matcha, milk, vanilla, and strawberry. One noteworthy improvement is that lately, they’ve switched to using a fish-shaped spoon as a fun branding detail, instead of the tiny plastic spoon they used to use back in the day!
Ube milk is their best flavor.
Somi Somi’s soft serve and taiyaki look absolutely adorable and delicious. The swirl of creamy ube ice cream paired with the warm, golden fish-shaped pastry makes for a fun and comforting treat. A perfect little dessert moment.
solid choice for dessert. consistent across all somisomi locations
Service here is terrible. My taiyaki was undercooked, basically raw, but they refused to remake it. They denied us extra spoons with the ice cream and were rude.

They don't listen properly
Good taste Taiyaki
Great dessert option for those at Valley Fair Mall. They have a lot of flavor choices for soft serve and taiyaki. Many are lactose-free which is great that they have that option. I went with the Matcha Abong style with Nutella taiyaki. My wife went with Strawberry Abong style with red bean taiyaki. Both were Delicious.
Very rude costumer service . We order the ice cream My daughter she drop the spoon I ask for another one . The say we are not allowed. Very poor management.
If you’re in the mood for a fun and delicious dessert, this spot serving Korean-style soft serve in fish-shaped waffle cones is a must-try. The cones are crispy, slightly sweet, and the soft serve is creamy and rich—flavors like vanilla, matcha, and red bean are all winners.
