Fish-shaped ice cream has always been one of my favorite treats on a hot day. The fish-shaped waffle cone, filled with all kinds of fillings—from red bean and black sesame to hazelnut—is flipped upside down over scoops of ice cream, making it look absolutely adorable. The fresh ice cream itself is delicious, with a wide range of flavors like matcha, milk, vanilla, and strawberry. One noteworthy improvement is that lately, they’ve switched to using a fish-shaped spoon as a fun branding detail, instead of the tiny plastic spoon they used to use back in the day!
Ube milk is their best flavor.
Somi Somi’s soft serve and taiyaki look absolutely adorable and delicious. The swirl of creamy ube ice cream paired with the warm, golden fish-shaped pastry makes for a fun and comforting treat. A perfect little dessert moment.
solid choice for dessert. consistent across all somisomi locations
Service here is terrible. My taiyaki was undercooked, basically raw, but they refused to remake it. They denied us extra spoons with the ice cream and were rude.
They don't listen properly
Good taste Taiyaki
Great dessert option for those at Valley Fair Mall. They have a lot of flavor choices for soft serve and taiyaki. Many are lactose-free which is great that they have that option. I went with the Matcha Abong style with Nutella taiyaki. My wife went with Strawberry Abong style with red bean taiyaki. Both were Delicious.
Very rude costumer service . We order the ice cream My daughter she drop the spoon I ask for another one . The say we are not allowed. Very poor management.
If you’re in the mood for a fun and delicious dessert, this spot serving Korean-style soft serve in fish-shaped waffle cones is a must-try. The cones are crispy, slightly sweet, and the soft serve is creamy and rich—flavors like vanilla, matcha, and red bean are all winners.

Best ice cream in san jose! The ube is the best one! It's the perfect consistency. And the ice cream was only 6 dollars with the fish waffle!
