The food is just as much a part of the experience, thanks to Jose, the best cook around, who makes everything feel like a home-cooked meal. But at the core of it all is the incredible staff. Bartenders like Christopher Foley, Chrissy Pooh, and RAV are part of what makes this place so friendly and welcoming. And of course, a special shout-out to Courtney. She is so much more than a bartender; she is the embodiment of what makes this place so special. Courtney is incredibly attentive, genuinely nice, and truly caring. Her warmth is contagious, and it’s obvious how much she loves her friends and family, and she extends that same love to everyone who walks through the door. Taplands is the best in the world, and it's because of the amazing people who work there. And there's this one random guy named Paulo that's always there and every time they do underbergs he says it still tastes like shit. He's so funny 😂

Having Pliny options is great, however, trying to purchase a bottle on the way out was horrible! The bartender was too busy having shots with customers. We walked out after having a couple of beers on the patio, and wanting a couple Pliney's to go. What say ye TTB?

We arrived too late (Sunday night) and the kitchen was closed but the hummus and chips were tasty. They have a wide selection of beers available. A few games to play for those that are interested. Very chill vibes. Bartender was pleasant. Highly recommend.

I showed up on 12/6/2024 at 11:15 pm on a Friday night and the taps were already cleaned and last call had been made. Which means that they called last call on a Friday at 11pm 1 hour before they were supposed to be closed and I was asked to leave because they said they can't server me because they are closed. I got off a plane and rushed there only to be turned away. This is so disappointing if your going to close at 11 pm that's fine but don't put online your open till 12 if your going to waste my time and gas.

this is just a brilliant bar. We were on a trip to san jose recently for two nights and loved this bar so much we went back a second night. Different bar person each night but they were both top of their game, excellent bar people. The beers are excellent, a nice selection with brilliant options in the fridge also.
