It tastes like the food I ate in the countryside when I was in elementary school. Overseas Chinese? Or, it looks like a restaurant run by Korean-Chinese people. The restaurant overall does not look clean. It's pretty delicious.

Excellent food! Been coming here for years. One of the few places to get authentic Korean black bean noodles or Jjajangmyeon.

Stay alert to this place, they will steal your money in silence!!! I paid the bill by credit card and paid tip in cash, but I ended up found out that they changed the amount I wrote on the bill and charged me extra $11 which is almost 45% tip (before sale tax) on the top of my $6 cash tip, total 60% tip!! WTH, they're very dishonest and greedy!! The food was $28 + tax, and they're charged me over $42!! I was shocked when found out this charges from my bank account!!! Please please please check your bank statements and stay alert if using credit card!! P.S. I took picture on both receipt and bank statement as an evidence!! Those people are super super super dishonest and greedy!!

Pros: - Food is excellent here! A large variety of Chinese-Korean fusion type food at a very reasonable price. Would recommend the chicken wings and the Jjajangmyeon (aka black bean noodles) here. Very very good with tons of flavor. - Can accommodate a large group of people. Don't expect to be a quiet environment as it could be pretty loud! - Service was great, waitress was very attentive and accommodating. They save bottles for you if you do not finish in one sitting by putting your name on it and they will store it for you Cons: - Parking can be limited in the plaza so be aware - Bathrooms are not very clean, so plan accordingly especially with kids Overall - This place is excellent especially going with a group of friends or with family who want a variety of food. Definitely would retrun!

Solid fix for any of your Chinese Korean cravings. If you're craving any one of the ultimate comfort foods (jjajangmyun and jjamppong) or classic fried delicacies (tangsuik and kkanpunggi), Tong Soon will satisfy your Chinese Korean cravings. After eating here twice, this is becoming a go to. Located off of El Camino with parking in the back, a small and unassuming restaurant with a nice wait staff that speaks English, Chinese, and Korean. Portion sizes are generous. My only disappointment was the jjamppong. The broth was tasty and seafood-y, just the way I like it. The noodles were chewy and bouncy, just the way I like it. The seafood had variety, just the way I like it. The problem was that there just wasn't that much noodles or seafood. The noodle soup's ratio was much more soup broth than noodle or seafood, which made me just wish there was more stuff inside... Overall, great place in the Bay Area. 1 of 3 Chinese Korean that I've tried and probably tied for favorite so far. Would definitely come back.

Used to be one of the best Chense Korean, but my recent visit was quite disappointing with mediocre food, cluttered and noisy ambience, and poor

LOVE, LOVE this place. As a Korean-American, I really appreciate their food. In my opinion, they have THE best Jajangmyun in the South Bay. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I went here on my husband’s birthday…ordered sweet & sour prawns and garlic chicken. Garlic Chicken was so so not crispy at all..soggy still we had few pieces somehow . But Sweet & Sour prawns was not good at all..it was only sweet not spur at all. After tasting both the Dish we didn’t feel like ordering any more.We just payed our respective bill and came out.The lady who was serving us followed us to the parking lot and from 100 meter away she started shouting no tip..no tip.. multiple times where is the tip.?She made us feel so embarrassed in parking lot in front of others. It was like she is going to forcefully make us pay for tip. It’s up to us whether we are willing to pay tip or not..and also it was not clean food place. Spoon and glass were dirty.

My daughter's friend came and ordered Jjajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork, but the sweet and sour pork was so hard that her teeth suddenly started to ache. The sweet and sour pork looks so dry that you can't even cut it with your teeth, probably because it was fried in oil for too long. This is the worst sweet and sour pork I've ever had.My teeth hurt so much that I groaned all night. ThrobbingWhen preparing food, you need to pay more attention to detail and check the food delivered once more.

Good food. I heard that the food improved after the change of the owners.Parking can be a pain. Be prepared to street park on El Camino Real. Might be easier (vs finding a spot in their shared parking lot)
