Tostadas Prime

This was our first time at tostadas Prime in Santa Clara. We got there at 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday The inside of the restaurant looks nice the employees are very unprofessional they were watching UFC instead of working then they would stand around in groups in front of tables just chit chatting away about personal stuff my the food was horrible I had a ribeye Prime my wife and son had New York steak Prime and my other son had a pasta the rabbi and the New York state had more fat than actual meat the steak was very Bland no salt or nothing the mashed potatoes were horrible nothing on the plates had any salt whatsoever my wife ordered a margarita and they put too much cheap alcohol we paid we paid $395 for nothing water let down we will not be going back there if you really want to get some good steak go to Texas Roadhouse in Tracy

We took our son here for an early birthday dinner on 11/22 at 4:30 pm. This was my husband’s and my second visit, but our kids’ first. Unfortunately, this experience was nothing like our first time.

Upon walking in, it appeared that several employees were celebrating a birthday behind the bar. The host seated us, but while doing so he accidentally knocked over the drink I had brought with me. It spilled all over my seat, purse, and the floor. He apologized and said he would clean it up and pick up the cup, but he only wiped the seat and table—my purse was ignored, and the cup stayed on the floor next to my husband for the rest of the meal. My drink was wasted, but I tried to let it go since accidents happen.

It took several minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. Two different employees approached us at different times, and the process felt disorganized. Meanwhile, we noticed employees behind the bar taking shots and eating food, which came across as unprofessional, especially during dinner service.

After our drinks arrived, no one came to take our meal order for quite a while. At one point, someone who appeared to be a manager walked up and asked if we were ready for the check—before we had even ordered our food. We were confused, and he apologized, clearly realizing the mistake.

When we finally placed our order (3 quesabirria tacos, mini street tacos, fries, and a skirt steak), we watched as our food sat under the warmer with no one picking it up. The cooks even started whistling to get the servers’ attention, but the staff remained occupied behind the bar. Our server only grabbed the plates after noticing me looking at him, which was disappointing—especially since we wanted this to be a nice birthday dinner for our son.

The food itself was plated beautifully and tasted great, though it was noticeably less warm due to sitting out. We didn’t complain because we had a movie to catch, but it definitely affected the experience.

Sadly, this visit was a major letdown. The service has gone downhill dramatically, which is disappointing for such a unique setting. We probably won’t be returning. I personally didn’t feel inclined to leave a tip, though we still left a few dollars

Had a Great Time Celebration was a family birthday dinner. Service was excellent. Food was good & healthy. The cost was also wonderful in comparison to other steak house menu item costs.

Everything was amazing, great place for birthday celebrations, food was presented so nicely and was so delicious! Only negative thing I would say is that the waitress was super nice but after she got her tip she was a little rude when I asked for a to go box , maybe because I bothered her while she was counting her tips I guess 😏 besides that we paid almost $400 for a party of 5

We had reservations and we were seated right away. Services was great, they were checking on us if everything was going well or any issues/questions. Love the decoration was amazing and art work around. Love the club vibe when special drinks or desserts came out with the sparklers. The seafood was delicious. We had the mango habanero and Spanish octopus.

Marrow... Great Ribeye.... Fantastic drinks.... Amazing Ambiance.... come here... eat here... drink here.... Worth it..

Went for Saturday dinner. It was a loud place, with flashing lights, and a lot of birthday celebrations. Tacos were good. Service was a bit slow.

Let's start with the positives: We were seated right at our reservation time The murals are pretty The oysters Rockefeller were delicious... we had 18 The Mr Bubbles was tasty. The hallway to the bathroom is beautiful Now.. The surf and turf-all the vegetables, including the mashed potatoes were cold & undercooked. The 24k gold wrapped steak was over cookea.... Wasn't asked the temp preference either. We sent it back- it wasn't edible The street tacos- steak... i think we very specific- NO CILANTRO. It was brought out with all the cilantro i reminded the waiter... I was very clear. It took them another 10 minutes to remake it. The tortillas were a little dry. The meat was seasoned well. That's about all The sushi was just ok. It was missing something. We were the first table to be sat. Another woman came in after us. It still took 45 minutes to get our order and first appetizers. The service is quite slow. Overall the experience was very different from our first experience. It made it a very disappointing time, and for the drive it was quite challenging. **The manager, Lilliana reached out privately to offer a GC for the horrible experience- it was never sent and the team never replied about it.** Won't be back.

Tostadas prime is amazing we always eat there and the customer service is great and the food is amazing

Grilled Octopus 3 Spanish tentacle octopus, soft, not chewy, doesn’t taste fresh, rustic garlic, guacamole, paprika chipotle aioli, medium flavorful
Oysters Rockefeller 4 oven roasted, bacon, butter Romano cheese, parsley, green herbs; cheesy, flavorful; surprised that it only came with 1 oyster when the DoorDash photo depicted 3 oysters in it!
Birria Tacos 4 shredded beef, melted cheese inside; raw onion, cilantro outside; the description on DoorDash said it was served with consomme but the consommé did not come with the order.

Customer service was great. Overall the price for food and drinks is insane. The restaurant chairs were filthy . I will not return, too expensive.

Absolutely Love this place. I wish there was one in the central valley, we would go all the time. It's a little pricey, but worth every penny! This is now an absolute must go to every time we are in the area.

Overall the experience was great. Drinks were great, my partner loved his food, however my filet mignon as tender as it was, had no flavor at all, and the silk mashed potatoes could have used a whole lot more salt.
