Tostadas Prime

The food at tostadas prime is really delicious. I loved the Al pastor trompo I ordered, it was fresh and flavorful. However, the overall experience was a bit disappointing.

- Be patient with the service
- Enjoy the food and don't expect much from the atmosphere
- Maybe consider ordering takeout if you don't care about the ambiance

What a fantastic birthday celebration we had with friends! The ambiance was absolutely spot on, making for a really enjoyable evening. But let's talk about the food – wow! The seafood was definitely a highlight and a must-try, cooked to perfection. And seriously, don't skip the desert platter; it was the perfect sweet ending to an already delicious meal. Highly recommend this spot for a fun time with great food!

Omg! If you've never been to Tostadas Prime, you need to go. It is a whole experience to dine there. The food is not only great, but the drinks are also good, and the whole vibe is amazing. A perfect spot for a weekend night out.
This is not a place for a romantic dinner, but it is a great place to party with family and friends.
It has more of a club vibe than a restaurant, so if you are looking to go out with your friends and have fun, this is the place.

Overall food and drinks were good, the only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the shrimp tacos they were burnt. We did let our server know and they graciously removed from our bill. Aside from the Ensenada shrimp tacos, we had the aguachile steak and bone marrow tacos which were delicious. The food wait time was little to none, very fast efficient and well executed by the chefs.

Cocktails we had the cantarito and BBL, very great!

Unfortunately service was lacking, kinda wild how long it took to get attended/greeted/ordered mind you we had reservations and it was not overfilled with guests. Front desk host could be a little warmer a bit dry. Obviously we are all allowed one off days. I’ll have to go again some other time and see if it’s better.

Currently rating a 3.5 overall. Food and drinks are good, so I recommend but service is key to have a great experience hope this feedback helps!

I want to start this review by acknowledging how accommodating the staff is at this tostadas location, they place was full and they managed to get a table in less than 5 mins which was very much appreciated. The food was also spectacular, I ordered tomahawk steak with mashed potatoes and broccolini. I have to say that the price is reasonable for what your getting… the food, the ambiance and the service. I also tried a few of their cocktails which didn’t disappoint.
Can’t wait to be back!

We returned from dinner at Tostadas Prime and were surprised to receive an email from OpenTable stating that the restaurant marked us as a no-show, which was clearly incorrect. This has never happened to me before, as I’ve never missed or been late for a reservation. I hope they resolve this issue.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the service provided by Jay, who was professional, courteous, and displayed stellar communication skills. The food was generally above average, with our favorite dish being the skirt steak. I ordered the Enchiladas by the Sea, which I found a bit bland and could have used more seasoning, though the addition of carrots on the side was a nice touch. We also had guacamole, which we thought needed more salt, and the bread pudding, which was generously sized—so much so that we took most of it home.

We appreciated the service, the ambiance, and the parking, which wasn’t too difficult since the restaurant is located in a large plaza. There was a big birthday party happening during our visit, but overall, the restaurant was half-empty—likely because it was just after New Year’s and many people might have been resting.
