Hmmm. I usually don’t trust the 1 star reviews but I think I gotta listen to these reviews.

Before I went in, I checked the reviews to see if it was worth going. Lots of the reviews states bad service and not authentic korean fried chicken. Not only just 1 star reviews on service and food but the owner seems to like to criticize back the customers.

I can see where the staff learn their services. Toxic and very unfriendly. Also rudeness is to be expected when arriving here. I’m not surprise the owner only hires emotionally insecure waitresses and waiters/cashiers.

Long story short

I decided to give it a try….. I should have trusted the reviews.

Chicken was small, salty, and not crunchy. No one will give you water and if you ask a single question like asking for your check. They will talk shit about you really loudly.

I think Kyle was my server. Want to call him out as I know the owner won’t do anything about it his behavior towards customers.

Extremely rude and emotionally immature. I hope this review really stains this for other employers. This either needs to go to school for basic customer service or change his entire demeanor.

I came here for the soy garlic wings because 99 chicken was closed. This place was such a disappointment. The soy garlic flavor was not truly there. And the wings were not crispywhatsoever

I was there to pick up the online order on Monday lunch time and the cashier was very rude behave with me … he should don’t have that behavior with there helpers beacuse we are helping them to deliver there food to there customers but his behavior is very disgusting with delivery guys he should learn how to treat people … if you have any trouble with you job .. don’t show aggression on your customers or other one .. Worst experience of whole my life with any restaurant .. that person doesn’t deserve to be there because of his behavior only …

Was pretty good chicken place, but today we ordered take out and the taste was awful. Also realize the price is 25% more than the Pleasanton location.

Showed up on Friday, 7/18/25, for lunch and the restaurant was closed—despite several employees clearly inside. They just waved us off, signaling it was closed without any explanation. No sign, no notice. Is this place out of business? Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Absolutely horrible and rude. One person in our party was late for 3~4 minutes after sitting down. The owner kept pestering us about this while we sat down, saying we must order or get out immediately. We explained they would be here very soon, and just parking as it's very hard to find a parking place. Owner was extremely unprofessional and talked under their breath and seemed to be swearing in their language. Then, when food came out, was very rude as well.

Took wifey and out of town family to the restaurant wifey wanted to hit. And it was perfect. Why? We called 2.5 hrs ahead and they reserved a table for all 6 of us. Although it was tight for all of us, but it was absolutely a great experience. Be sure to be ready to use the gloves they provide for the fried chicken. And because they are always busy, be sure to ask for a bone bucket 🪣. The 2 gentlemen that was there was absolutely helpful and kind, even when the whole place was completely packed. We not only ordered more than we could handle, we ordered take home because it was so good. 5 Jambong, 2 jjajamyeon, 3 half size fried chicken, and 3 sprites.

So if you're hungry for some Korean simples and a place that has what you're looking for when it comes to the double fried chicken 🍗, be sure to stop by with friends or family and get your ttobongee on!

The sweet & spicy was extra delicious, the soy garlic was a bit too salty for me but still good, and the album was ecstatticly pleasing. So dont waste time and come and taste these dishes.
