They have somehow managed the seemingly impossible with the regular cheesecake: making food that has absolutely no taste or flavor. It’s not sweet, nor sour, nor bitter, nor salty, nor tangy, nor umami. It’s a weird sensation to have something in my mouth and taste absolutely nothing. Eating uncooked dry flour has more flavor. Drinking water has more flavor. Licking the air like a snake has more flavor.
The texture is fine enough. Soft and kinda melts in your mouth. But flavorless. I don’t think this would pass as a Japanese cheesecake if it were in Japan where you can get the authentic real deal.
First time here, we ordered the Cherry blossom cheesecake and it’s so delicious! I don’t like cheese cake except for Japanese cheesecake. It never disappoints. Love it. Will definitely be back to order more.

The original cheesecake is very good. It's very light, and one person can eat the whole thing in one sitting. Tastes better when refrigerated. Also tried the Ube cheesecake, which was very subtle in flavor and tasted just like the original, skip. It is quite pricey for the portion size. Also, the price is inflated on DoorDash, so I wouldn't recommend ordering for delivery.

Tried this place a few times before but it's always stayed consistent. The pricing is a tad high but it is a some what niche store so it's nit that far out.
Nice soft cake with good flavors, cheese tarts are pretty solid too.
Worth a try but mileage will vary due to pricing.

I’ve been a regular customer at this store for over a year and have made more than a dozen purchases, always a pleasant experience. However, today was the first time I left feeling extremely disappointed and disrespected.
I came in right after the store opened and asked to buy two cheese tarts. The cashier, whose name was Raymond, told me that since I was only buying two, they wouldn’t provide a box but individual paper sleeves. I politely said that was fine. However, throughout the interaction, he kept giving me a condescending look, which already made me uncomfortable.
When I asked if I could have a slightly larger bag to carry the two tarts — since I planned to continue shopping afterward — he immediately responded, twice, with “I told you so,” and firmly said it wasn’t possible. Most upsetting of all, he rolled his eyes at me not once, but twice. And just to be clear, I had been completely polite when I walked in and talked with him.
I understand if there are store policies around packaging, but the way he communicated it was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. If it’s truly the rule that no larger bag can be given for two items, that could have been explained calmly and professionally. Instead, his attitude and body language were completely inappropriate and uncalled for.
Really disappointed.

The cake never got delivered. Despite repeated attempts to reach out to get a refund or cake delivery, the store gave a dead ear

Cashier unwilling to make exceptions for 1-2 dollars fewer when their payment system is completely out. Not only it's cash only but also they don't have any change. Bad customer experience
Bought the Basque cheesecake today, and unfortunately discovered a piece of plastic wedged inside it. Utterly disgusted and will be throwing the entire $25 cheesecake. Not just a rip off but concerned about food safety standards being maintained here. Requesting the management to investigate ASAP.

My family’s favorite, I buy at least 2~3 pieces every time because the cheesecake is too small and one is not enough for two people

The Japanese cheesecake was amazing. You can tell it was made with high-quality ingredients, and the taste was amazing! If you're looking for a truly delicious and authentic Japanese cheesecake, this is the place to go.

Food is insane. Cheesecakes are light and airy, but not too sweet. They have a variety of pastry's, but the best ones are the whole cheesecakes and tarts. Definitely go here.

Very unclear menu. Not clear about cheesecake vs cheese tart. Unhelpful explanation by the attendant. Responded with minimal explanation for my questions. I went there for the first time but they didn't have anything to recommend me. Cheese tart was given in a tiny paper bag that sticks to the tart and all the cheese comes off. When asked for a second/bigger paper bag, she straight up said we don't provide any other bags or paper bags if you buy just one tart. 🤷
