Both their original and strawberry cheesecakes were delicious!
Their coffee cheesecake was very delicious and fluffy (and also slightly warm when I got it😋)
It's hard not to compare this Uncle Tetsu to the one in Japan. Definitely, the price is so much higher. It's the US and Bay Area prices baby!! Located in the second floor of the Westfield mall. No lines. Service is good. The Japanese cheesecake cake is almost the same. Tastes a little heavier , just slightly but still good. Tried their other specialty, their shortbread Ube cookies. Pretty soft and tasty. Would came back again when I crave it.
super fast service and the best cakes in town!
If you want a cheesecake with no soul or flavor. Get one of these.
Quick grab and go
Good, but nothing spectacular.
The main drawback is that they only sell whole cakes for $16 USD, it would be great if they offered slices!
Awesome Japanese cheesecake. I ordered the original and it was yummy. There is a light cream inside the came and it's so soft and light. Absolutely recommended. Definitely try the original flavor. It's inside the shopping mall.

The cake here is a classic. Very similar to all the other locations. Fluffy and tasty cake with interesting seasonal flavours.
I ordered the Pandan flavoured cake and it did taste like Pandan and coconut in it. Ordering it was pretty fast too, pretty much no line up and the cakes were ready to go.

A tad pricey but delicious cheesecake, and the workers are super friendly

They have somehow managed the seemingly impossible with the regular cheesecake: making food that has absolutely no taste or flavor. It’s not sweet, nor sour, nor bitter, nor salty, nor tangy, nor umami. It’s a weird sensation to have something in my mouth and taste absolutely nothing. Eating uncooked dry flour has more flavor. Drinking water has more flavor. Licking the air like a snake has more flavor.
The texture is fine enough. Soft and kinda melts in your mouth. But flavorless. I don’t think this would pass as a Japanese cheesecake if it were in Japan where you can get the authentic real deal.
First time here, we ordered the Cherry blossom cheesecake and it’s so delicious! I don’t like cheese cake except for Japanese cheesecake. It never disappoints. Love it. Will definitely be back to order more.

The original cheesecake is very good. It's very light, and one person can eat the whole thing in one sitting. Tastes better when refrigerated. Also tried the Ube cheesecake, which was very subtle in flavor and tasted just like the original, skip. It is quite pricey for the portion size. Also, the price is inflated on DoorDash, so I wouldn't recommend ordering for delivery.
