We had our 1990 SJSU Championships Football reunion here last night. The breakfast this morning was great too.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites while in Santa Clara on business and we were so happy we gave this place a try! We didn't eat food we had cocktails from the best bartender we ever met! Her name is Mimi and she's a true professional. All I'll say is every drink we had she absolutely killed it. We look forward to coming back! Get you a Mimi's Starbucks and Mimi's Amaretto Sour you'll thank us later!

Pretty average hotel. Giving it 4 stars given it included breakfast and happy hour. The bartenders and omlette maker were excellent and friendly. Other breakfast staff seemed less than thrilled to be there but overall went about their tasks and kept out of guests way. The rooms could definitely use some updating and the layout was quite awkward being right next to the stairwell. The room felt cramped and the bathroom small to maneuver in. Not sure if all rooms were that way but I'd suggest a different room. The hotel was reasonably close to some restaurants and easy enough to get around the area. Overall not a bad stay.

Excellent Embassy Suites, This hotel is Clean and in a great location. Check in was wonderful, and Kevin is Exemplary. The Breakfast was outstanding and made to order Omelets were delicious. Happy Hour was also great, and hotel is very clean and very updated. I flew into SFO, and was a easy drive, about 30 minutes to get here and close to many great restaurants also. As a Diamond Elite highly recommend this hotel.

Uncomfortable staying; my stay at Embassy was unaccepted so terrible. The staff was unwelcoming me. The front desk was rude with sad faces, and the breakfast chef was racist; his accent seemed to be from Mexico. When I asked him for french toast, he looked angry and rude; he gave me a dish like he tossed the paper in the trash cane.

The staff were rude and arrogant, I would advise anyone NOT to stay there. They gave me the wrong room which was used to store huge window glasses. When I reflected the issue, they didn’t apologize but to grab my key card rudely and refused to give me back (while my luggage was still in the room). The assistant manager of front desk even threatened me saying there would be no rooms for me if I didn’t agree to just “move on” while I was just trying to ask them to give me an explanation why I was sent to a storage room. I am a Diamond member of Hilton Honor and this is the worst experience.

My daughter and I stayed here during a team event in January. We were assigned a room on the 5th floor, away from the craziness of the elevator. This Embassy Suites is almost exactly like every other. However, there isn't the large atrium you are used to. However, keep in mind, that did not detract from our stay. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely top notch. It was very well stocked, clean, and that made to order omelet/egg station is to die for. An excellent assortment of fruits, veggies, bread and cereal. I felt the hotel was extremely comfortable and clean. We did have a crazy rain storm one night and a leak occurred in the lobby. The was ZERO fault of the hotel, but they were actively taking an approach to clean and repair it. The pool was not used, but we did check it out. It was small, but useful for those small ones you bring with you. Towels are provided. No Hot tub or Sauna. Evening reception. In my opinion you stay at an Embassy Suites for the evening reception and the breakfast. This one was MUCH better than any others. The gentlemen bartending knew what others don't: who cares about the punch card, ill keep pouring the free drinks if the tips keep coming. That's exactly what happened. Those amazing bartenders made a significant amount of money off of us because of their service. The rooms were impeccable. This hotel was older, probably remodeled. However it was up to the Embassy Suites standards. I will stay here again.

Most Embassy Suites tend to be similar and this location is no exception except that it may be a bit smaller than most locations. The lobby bar/breakfast/evening reception area is not that large but it was not too crowded, at least at breakfast. The room itself was fine, the bathroom had been recently upgraded but the rest of the room has not been refreshed and reflects a 2010 vibe. A bit of quality control is also needed as the one lamp in the living room had a damaged lampshade and was very unpleasant to have on as the bulbs stuck out of the top. The clock radio in the room did not work and it was one of those ridiculous ones where you cannot reset the time so that it reflects reality. Parking is a bit odd and is an extra cost which seems odd given the location.

Visited San Fran with my little fam and drove out to Santa Clara last Wed-Fri to explore. We ended up staying at the Embassy Suites by HIlton in Santa Clara and were pleasantly surprised. Two nights with clean rooms, soft pillows, blackout curtains, good wifi, and a great night's rest. We were thoroughly impressed with the property along with the staff that assited us. Wanted to thank Tony for receiving us in the late night with a nice greeting and water. Ceressa was super friendly and also helped with directions and water! Lastly, Joseph helped us with checkout and pointed me to the lobby bathroom. Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Last but not least, we must say that the hosts and breakfast (omlettes custom made)!! were delicious!! We will come back next time we are in the area.

For breakfast alone, this would get 4 stars. Unfortunately for dinner, it gets 2 stars, so the average is 3. Breakfast is good here. The usual hotel fare but with the option to have cooked-to-order items, too. Dinner...well, they shouldn't even advertise dinner. It should be re-branded as bar snacks. The bar is open and you can get food. There is a complete menu and it looks like there are nice items on it, but it's really not that great. The apps/fried things (i.e. bar food) were OK. I was on a business trip so I ordered the ribeye at $40+. It wasn't worth $10. Thin, gray, and overcooked (I ordered med. rare). I was hungry so I ate it. The garlic mashed potatoes were the best thing on the plate. If you're going for more than apps and a drink at the bar, do yourself a favor and walk across the intersection to the restaurant strip where the quality is far better for the same prices.
