Don't let the location on the corner fool you, the interior and food here are worth checking out. I snuck in for a quick bite during the week at around 11am. Great service and the burger I got was quite memorable. Had to treat myself to a crepe as well. Fair prices I'd say along with a snug parking lot which may or may not deter you. Overall I'd say give this place a try! PS: shoutout to the buns in the burger, such a pleasant surprise in texture.

When I think brunch, my mind automatically goes to Mikayla's crab cake Benedict. This place is an underrated gem. We almost never have to wait for a table, even during prime weekend brunch times! Service is friendly, though sometimes a bit slow, and the food is consistently delicious. I always order the spicy crab cake Benedict with hash browns. The crab cakes are flavorful and crispy on the outside, creamy on this inside. They pair perfectly with the spicy hollandaise, which is more savory than a standard hollandaise and only has a mild kick. The eggs are well poached with a runny yolk and the hash browns are consistently crunchy all the way through. The chicken and waffles is also pretty good, with super crunchy and moist chicken. My friends have tried the ultimate grilled cheese and smokehouse burger, but found both to be a bit too rich and salty. I highly recommend sticking with the spicy crab cake Benedicts!

Food was cold! The hash brown and croissant tasted days old! Smoothie room temperature! Yes. Unbelievable. Plus there were flies. No lie the service was the worst l have ever seen. Why? Our waiter Leong was friendly at first, and even made a recommendation but then he never checked back on us. We had to flag down another staff member for ketchup and napkins. Guess where he was? This is the kicker. Sitting at the bar in clear view eating a hot meal probably, in front of his guests. Breaks are ok with a heads up or warning. But geez! The other staff members saw me looking confused and couldn't care less. I had to yell excuse me in a room of 8 people possibly and saw other guests also having to get out of their seats to get bills etc. The young lady Ruby who was counting the cash register told me to wait one second. After a minute of me staring her down l walked over and asked for the manager. She said there wasn't one on duty. I asked her to ask for assistance when she needs it. Then l questioned why our waiter was eating at the bar. When l gave him a merciful and brief training in courtesy and customer service he just walked away. I asked that my drink be removed from the bill. She did so without hesitation. I thanked her for listening and left. In summary, if you like being ignored and eating cold stale food by all means visit this location. We've never had problems at the original restaurant but this one is not for anyone with anger management issues because l am patient teacher and still left pissed off at the lack of compassion and unapologetic behavior coming from people in the customer service industry. Mikayla are you mad? This is your namesake.

Came here to try this place for the first time because it's very close to home and looked interesting. For a Sunday brunch it was not too full, just a few tables occupied so we were seated right away. Pros: -- Great Quantity! Plates were definitely generously full -- Hash browns were cooked crispy and to perfection -- Nice meaty bacon -- Both servers helping were very nice and friendly, a young male and female -- Real butter served with toast Cons: -- Metal creamer jug on table held "non-dairy" creamer....so weird that this is their default for the coffee? I asked for regular cream or half and half, and was told they don't carry it! I've literally never seen this at any diner in my life ...the young man could not offer me a decent alternative. I finally asked for regular whole milk, and he brought some out warmed so that was excellent, and at least I could have a nice cup of coffee with my breakfast! -- Prices are high -- Toast that came with breakfast was only one slice cut in half, rather than the usual 2 slices most places serve -- Although the hash browns were cooked crispy I could tell the oil they used was slightly on the old side

Drinks were good, food was below average if not disappointing. I ordered the Spicy Crab Cakes and the English muffin was hard as a rock, literally inedible to the point where my knife couldn't even cut through it. Sadly my whole party experienced this and multiple people ordered the Crab Cakes. The crab cake itself was good but even the egg wasn't cooked right, the egg was basically poached to the point of being a hard boiled egg. Overall I wouldn't return here, below average food, decent drinks and just not worth the price.

I had the worst experience of my life here. My husband and I went to the cafe on a weekday and we were the only two customers there. They took our order(not to mention the staff was very rude) and after 30 minutes or so they told us that they forgot to prepare our order that too in an unapologetic manner. To our surprise, one more party arrived while we were sitting and they were served with their order in just 10 minutes. I don't understand what to take from this incident. We asked them to cancel the order and left the place. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We experienced a super long waiting in this restaurant with more than 40mins, and the Mexican man waiter intentionally ignored our table, even finishing the ordering of all the tables around us. So we had to go to the front desk to make the order, after 20mins, still no one takes care of us, no water, no asking. I do not recommend this place due to their bad service.

I ordered the herbivore wrap which came stuffed with potatoes and a small amount of scrambled eggs. THERE IS NO ZUCCHINI OR OTHER GREEN VEGETABLES as advertised on their menu. Rather, this is a potato wrap. Very frustrating.
