I was under the impression this restaurant was under new ownership.all that was done was change the name on the sign outside. The food was only so-so service was bad.,the giveaway was on the menu yes it had a different name on it. But once you look inside and read the menu. You can see a few dishes with the name bonito on some of the dishes. My friend used the ladies room and said it was not clean. Also she thinks she saw mold? Thank you

Less than friendly greeting and seating. Took a while to get our order taken. Waitress was incredibly nice and friendly. Food was hot and tasty. One order was off by a bit, but still good.

We hadn't been here for at least a couple of years but decided to go tonight because there was a lot of chatter on Facebook. However, it is the same place where even if you are the one to say hello it's hard to get any kind of response from the owner. Yes, the food is still good, and the margaritas are also very good. I just find it disturbing when the owner of an establishment can't even give you any kind of a greeting when you arrive. It may be sometime before I return.

Ewww. There was nasty floating things in our drinks. The floor was not vaccumed under the tables, the tortillas were dried out, the chips stale, the food was bland. The wait staff was good though. But surprisingly it was packed.

My first time here, and I've been in SCV for 16 years. The chips came out warm, fresh, and crispy. The salsa was medium, with different spices from regular bottled salsa. Not a lot of beef in the enchilada and the taco, but the melter cheese was good. Chile relleno was on the small side, and just average. Service was on par. Overall it's better than a 3, but not a 5.

Been going here for years, not sure why I haven't left a review till now. Haven't been back for two years due to Covid, went back this past Sunday. Even after two years Lorena remembered us, including our regular order right down to the Cadillac Marg! I can't stress enough how truly great this place is for authentic outstanding Mexican food. Not only is the food incredible, but Lorena is absolutely wonderful! Great food and outstanding service. Go try them you won't be disappointed. If you are lucky, Lorena will be your server, but they all Rock! This place deserves all the 5 stars! Thanks for another great dining experience, we'll be back soon!

The only problem I have is that you post hours that indicated that you were open for lunch. When I got there at shortly after 11am, the restaurant was closed and the hours posted on the door were 4-9pm. Wasted a trip.

Fantastic food and service!! Since it's so close, it will be a regular place we visit. Chili Colorado dinner is THE BEST I've had since I was a kid and went to Somis Cafe. I really can't say enough good things about this restaurant!!
