Not sure how this place stays in business. The pictures they show of their food are vastly different from the reality. When I brought this up to the owner he yelled at me and literally tried to take me outside to fight. I just wanted the pickles and salad that came with the order! When I refused to fight him, he made a whole scene in the food hall slamming doors and banging things around. He then closed up shop. It was super awkward. Made my colleague feel very unsafe. I’d avoid this spot unless you’re looking for a fight.

The food is every food. I come here once in a while for the beef rice bowl. Last time I got the bulgogi rice bowl. It was so good! My new favorite. I needed to serve food for 20 high schoolers. I called 2 days before and asked if I could order a tray of bulgogi, rice, and noodles. He was so nice and happy to take the order. Day of, the food was ready and hot. It was delicious, The students loved it!

The food was utterly inedible. The karaage was so overcooked it was practically dehydrated—hands down the worst I’ve ever tasted. To make matters worse, they swapped shrimp into a roll that, according to Foodja, was supposed to contain spicy tuna—no shrimp mentioned! I’m allergic to shrimp, and after taking a bite, I immediately realized the mistake. I ran to the store for medication. On the way, I checked the restaurant’s website and menu, which claimed the roll I ordered did indeed have shrimp. Later, I confirmed with Foodja that their menu listing was inaccurate—no trace of shrimp in the ingredients there. This isn’t just unacceptable; it’s downright dangerous.

This was a company sponsored meal where we all ordered what we wanted and it got delivered. Most people that got BistroDK were super disappointed and nearly everyone's order was wrong or had missing items.
