Bob's Country Meats

I’ve lived in Santa Clarita for almost six years and have driven by this place countless times, always noticing them barbecuing outside—but I never stopped because it didn’t look very appealing from the outside. This weekend, I finally decided to give it a try with my kids, and I’m so glad I did. The customer service was amazing, and the meats and sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The place was very clean, and the food tasted incredibly fresh. I actually went back again today—we love it. Highly recommend!

Went to Bob's Country Meats for the 1st time in a couple of years. There are very few butchers/shop anymore that actually take pride in their profession and assisting their customers. We were met by Richard and Andrew behind the butchers' case. I told Richard that most of the places that sell beef and other meats are not very tender or tasteful and that when we visit family in Northern California (Oroville) that we bring an ice chest and fill it with meats and sausages from a particular butcher shop in that area.
Richard explained where they get their product and that is the very best. I was skeptical because most say theirs' is the best. Richard and Andrew picked our meat for us..tri-tip, 2 boneless ribeye, pork roast, skirt steak and 2 beef patties. So I grilled the tri-tip that night on a gas grill. It was fantastic! Very tender and full of flavor! It was a little pricey but well worth the price. It was better than most restaurants, which Richard said it would be. I look forward to tasting the remaining meats we purchased. Thank you Richard and Andrew. Also Lena (sp?) helped my wife with a couple of things..very, very nice. We will be back!

Great Italian sandwich and ribs

I'm so glad we found this place! Today, my family and I stopped in right before closing to get some sausage links. We are very happy with the service and quality of meat. We will definitely be coming back.

I wanted to reach out and share my thoughts on Bob's Country Meats. It is truly one of the best places in town, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Their tri-tip sandwich is my personal favorite, and I am always impressed by the quality of their meats, which are consistently fresh and ready for the grill. Beyond the food, the hospitality is exceptional. I have a great deal of respect for the owners and the staff, who always make every visit a wonderful experience.

If you are looking for a great spot, this is definitely the place to go.

Had a frustrating experience due to a mistake made by an employee. Richard called me on his personal phone and ensured me that systems are in place to help prevent these types of mistakes. As frustrating as it was, Richard displayed empathy for the situation and you can tell that he truly cares about his business. I wasn't sure if I would be returning to this location in the future but after speaking with Richard, it made me realize that his customers do come first and his customer service goes above and beyond.

The prime rib I ordered for Christmas dinner was the best I’ve had from anywhere I’ve ordered in the past. I ordered a 5-rib roast lightly seasoned and bones cut away/ tied. Thank you for making our dinner the best for our holiday. Will not go anywhere else again. Wish I could post a picture to show how beautiful it came out. Tender, flavorful, perfectly marbled. I made whipped horseradish to top it off! Thank you ! The Quinns

The BEST in SCV

Ive lived in the area for 15 years , I had seen Bobs and finally went in. I have been delighted by the amazing chicken, ribs that I have gotten and will be a frequent customer!

I came back to Cali in January 2025, with a new puppy. Where I lived before I knew all the places to get bones for my pup. I had gone 4 months without a bone because I just couldn't find anywhere, until I randomly called Bobs. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was quite familiar with my dilemma (seems I wasn't the first), was very polite, and my puppy got bones that day. Since then I go every other week, and today we're going to try the sandwiches. (I'll try to update later)
If you have a dog, I highly suggest going for the bones from the butcher (he's the sweetest guy!) it's great for your dogs teeth, and keeps them entertained for a little while!
Also, if you have a small breed dog, they will make the cuts size appropriate for you if you ask.

First time being in here in a long while but it's absolutely delicious the host pastrami is as good as I've ever had it from any other place possibly even better. The garlic pasta along with the pickles were very welcome to. Also the employee I believe his name was Jeremy is an absolute credit to the team but all the other employees were very much high energy and very helpful to the other surrounding customers. If you need some great food while you're in the area this place is not to be missed.
