What sold us was the ALL YOU CAN EAT! It's about $50 per adult for dinner but specialty rolls are included. We definitely got our money's worth.

I have come here since previous owner/chef Herman. Since then it has probably switched owners. The restaurant was nice and clean not much has changed there. But Covid and inflation has detrimental effects on a lot of eatery places like smaller portions cut backs on staffing etc. In this case, for this place the quality of food is...not good. They were not busy so it wasn't like they were rushed. The 2 waiters were nice but very slow. They don't even check on our food we had to wait so long and kept initiating to check with them. I am not sure what their issue was if they have to rotate between waitering and cooking in the kitchen because we did order kitchen items from the menu. The pork katsu was very tough and dry with small child serving...perhaps they just know people don't eat it. The ramen was only ok nothing great. The sushi was mediocre. We didn't order all you can eat so I expected the quality would be better. Between the 4 of us we probably paid over $175. For that kind of money it's not worth it. I do not recommend this place. I hope the owner starts reading the yelp comments and do something to change this. I am all about supporting local small business. I hate seeing such an iconic eatery place that has been a part of my life last 30 years disappear.

As of 4/14/2024 AYCE sushi ?Reasonable prices, nice staff. We sat at the sushi bar and sushi chef was asking if we needed anything before we finished our first round. We'll be back soon

Everything is good about the restaurant. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The service is excellent. The food is fantastic.My daughter had an episode of epilepsy. The host helped us and we called 911. We made a mess but they were understanding and supportive.

We have been coming to Bonsai for over five years and although things have changed with management, the quality of food and service has stayed the same. We love this place and enjoy the atmosphere. The sushi is always fresh and so good!

Not sure why the bad review's because place was good . The host was nice , sat us down right away . Restrooms are clean , the entire place was super clean . Food was good and came out quickly . I got spicy tuna roll , spicy hand roll , vegetable tempura and miso soup . Oh and yellow tail Collard. All very flavorful and fresh . No pics cause I was hungry .

Ate her today 3/24/2024. Place looks clean and impressive inside. Service seemed cold and unwelcoming. I ordered the bento box with beef and tempura shrimp. The beef was tough and hardly had any teriyaki sauce. Tempura also had minimal dipping sauce, had to ask for more. Waiters did not check up on us nor refilled our water. Do not order soda, they just give you a can for $3, what a ripoff. Chicken karaage bland and unimpressive. Scallop sushi was ok but scallop was overcooked and rubbery. Yellowtail collar was burned charred carcinogenic. Really? Won't come back to this place. I suggest you go elsewhere.

If I could give it a zero I would , wow ordered $45 worth of sushi for delivery and was given zerooo soy sauce, the restaurant did not make it right acted like I didn't select soy sauce, number 1 that's a given also I did look it is not something u can add. Horrible service. Dry sushi with no soy sauce, pretty sure that's like illegal in 12 states. Wow first and last time I ever get there food.

Probably the worst sushi we've ever had... we originally wanted to go to Mad Tuna but to our disappointment they're permanently closed. We yelped AYCE Santa Clarita, and this places popped up... Wish I would have seen the reviews before we came. Rude service, no flavor in any of the rolls, everything just tasted like rice. No sauce, no siracha , no chili oil... literally bone dry. Also, when we ordered they threatened us and said if we over order they'll charge us $1 a piece left over. Avoid at all costs.

I am always Greeted Nicely and always Love Dining at Bonsai Garden. The quality of their Food is always Tasty and Fresh.
Food tasted great! However it took an unusually long time for things to come out and the waiter was very inattentive. At one point we were just waiting to order and he was watching tv. Not cool. And the AYCE has a time limit so you want an attentive waiter and food to come out reasonably fast otherwise you're not getting your bang for your buck. Still pretty happy with my experience and would come again though we wouldn't get the AYCE again most likely.
