I was misled and charged for a family sized order of fettuccine Alfredo. I called in to order and the man asked if I wanted a large or small, I asked for small since it was for one person. There was no mention from myself or the person who took my order that this was for a family sized order. If I do not specifically ask for a family size I should get a regular dinner or lunch portion. Long story short I paid $46 dollars for a pile of undercooked noodles with a few pieces of chicken and a few pieces of broccoli. I had a "discussion" with the person who took my order and he said this is what I asked for, no I didn't. If I wanted a family size I would have specifically asked for that. He finally, after disagreeing with me numerous times, offered to change the order to lunch size. I wasn't about to let the food out of my sight after that "discussion". I guess the customer isn't always right. One thing for sure I will never visit this restaurant again.

I remember the food here having more flavor and being much better. We were there with a large party so that could be why it was lacking what I remembered the last time I was there ordering for just myself. The food was chosen ahead of time and we were all served the same basic dishes to choose from served family style. Ravioli and penne pasta. A Pope lazy susan is always comical to me and the service was excellent. I ordered Tiramisu to go and it was excellent and loaded with liquor. It was a large portion and cost me $25 and was worth every penny. That has not changed and is still one of my favorites.

The server brought my husband a tea what was not hot( warm), my husband advices him of that and the server took it and told him, he will put it in the microwave 🤣.
Omg when he came back, my husband refused to drink it! How can you tell a customer you will put it in the microwave? Seriously?
Also I asked the server, if he can bring me also fresh chopped garlic for my pasta, he just looked at me and told me that he is not sure if they can do it because they are too busy, lol. So to do pasta…. It’s ok, but to get extra garlic on the side? too much work? Anyway… I got it anyway.

Such a fun place. Love the vibe and drinks. Best for a big party not a couple. Huge amounts of food. A few vegetarian items but you have to share because there is so much food!!

I will NEVER return to this place. Whenever I go to a restaurant, one of the first things I notice is the ambiance, i.e., the extent to which the establishment feels welcoming. Aesthetically, the place was casual, but that was NOT the problem.
The MAJOR problem was that the ENTIRE time I was there, an older white gentleman stood in the doorway and all he did was look at me as if he were watching to make sure, I guess, that I did not walk off with uhhhhh, restaurant tables? lol It was horrible!
Every time I turned to look towards the door, he was there giving me this unwelcoming stare. I wanted so bad to ask him if I could help him, but he CLEARLY did not seem want me there. The bartender was cordial, though, and the food was okay.
I've been tempted to return to see if this was just an isolated event, but considering the gentleman's demeanor, I suspect he may have been the owner. Nevertheless, I choose not to return as if he is the owner, I would not give this restaurant one cent!
Recommendation for the gentleman: You might consider changing your demeanor as it was atrocious and VERY unwelcoming!

Meh. Average Italian food at absurd prices. Luckily, there are better options in the vicinity.

While the food is always great, the waiter was very nice but he didn't get the order correct. 2 of items we ordered were wrong. He did correct one but it caused a delay for the person who ordered it in eating with the rest of us. Then the cheese was slightly burnt on top of that dish. We ordered mozzarella, easy on garlic, toast but just got garlic toast. We were also charged for the mozzarella toast when we didn't get it. It was a mistake on our part not to bring that to waiters attention before we paid and when we got the order. Lesson learned.

I made a last minute lunch reservation for one for Christmas day. Got a perfect table in a perfect area with a perfect server. Got perfect food, perfect dessert. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Best restaurant experience i have had in years.
Service was outstanding, being seating quickly upon arrival. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed great tasting food and enjoyed having a family picture being taken. Our special requests were honored such as omitting meat from salad, putting meat on the side. We were greeted upon arrival and leaving. Very nice Christman Eve day lunch!
Even though the servings are supposedly family style. It is very expensive for the amount of food you've get.
It's overpriced and not that good.
I don't see what all the fuss is about.
To each their own I guess.
Same atmosphere, and I gave Bucca 5 stars as they brought back an all time fav: Linguine fruit de Mare.... :)
