California Fish Grill

Overall the place was good. The clam chowder had good flavor but needed more clam and potato. As for the calamari...some pieces were very chewy other pieces super tender. The fish and fries were amazing.

Jose is the best. He knows all the dishes and is great at recommendations. He got me into the Swai (white fish) dinner ???️ . When I want to go more keto based (??‍♂️high protein??‍♀️), I choose the ✨?KALESLAW?✨ and rosemary-zucchini. This dinner gets in your ?omega 3’s and vegetables. On days I am ?craving carbs?, the sides I choose are the rice (brown or white) and beans (fiber?). We drive from the valley just for the friendly service and great cooks. For traditional eaters, I would do the battered fish taco combo with KALESLAW (dark leafy greens ?) and beans (fiber?). They did put in a ?self-order screen cards only machine but I wave them down, ??‍?order to a ??‍?person and pay cash via the cash register. ? Vegetarians there are wonderful side dishes you can order - I recommend the kaleslaw, beans, and sweet potato fries ?? with an ??ice cool beer ?.

Great fish tacos, love coming here. Hate self order kiosks, but CA isn't giving restaraunts much choice. Usually the person behind the counter can take my order. Definitely recommend.
