Was very excited to try this restaurant and left very disappointed. The service was terrible even though there were only a few people there and the waitress had plenty of time to refill the salt and pepper shakers. Waited a few times to get a refill of my coffee then when the food arrived it was room temperature which means it was sitting out for a while before getting to my table. The food was not what I expected either. It was not very tasty and also waited a while to get butter for my toast, at one point I had no coffee and no butter and the waitress was talking to other customers at another table while knowing I was waiting on her for my coffee and butter. Definitely will not come back and don't recommend this place to anyone.

This place will always be a great go to for us when we can't decide on anything new ! Always hits the spot the food is great and the service is great as well my kids love coming here and it's about 5 min away from us . Not the biggest place but it makes you feel just as home when you are there :)

Classic truck stop atmosphere. Scrambled eggs had some shells in it, and the French toast was flavorless. Cheaper than most breakfast places in town, but you get what you pay for I guess.

I read about the Halfway house Cafe! Ok, twist my arm. I know that's where a Cindy Crawford Pepsi commercial was filmed back in the 90's. I like ole historical places - especially one's that sell food. The HHC really is halfway to somewhere. Just joking, but it is in a remote location in Santa Clarita. It is well worth the drive. The food -- I had a Buffalo Burger one day, and a regular cheeseburger another, was scrumptious. I thought it'd be greasy diner food -- not saying there's anything wrong with that. Well, it wasn't. Both burgers were cooked to perfection! And the service was exceptional. The waitresses, Ally one day and Janell the next, were top notch. They were friendly, and with just enough of a spicy attitude. I don't mean that in a bad way, they just spoke like humans, not robots. You''l love them! And I cant thank Janell enough. She went out of her way to make my little daughter a strawberry smoothie. I distracted my daughter and drank a lot of it.. Ehh, sue me! haha.. Another feature to miss with the HHC is the wall of celebrities who've frequented the establishment. Eddie Murphy, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Clint Eastwood, Carmen Elektra and many others. And don't worry, you'll never have to be saved by the bell, because you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars!! Check it out when you get a chance, you won't be disappointed. Oh yeah, check out the menus because they have all the shows and commercials that have been shot at this wonderful out of the way work of art.

I love this original iconic restaurant. So many filming has been done here. It’s one of its kind restaurant with vintage signs throughout that will make you smile or laugh. We came here less than a month ago on a Monday morning. It was somewhat busy, our waitress was really nice and attentive. Good service.Good Coffee and the food was good.My husband ordered the steak and it was tender and juicy. I ordered the polish sausage, but would definitely come back and order the steak instead..

I had a delightful experience at this charming cafe! I ordered the bacon and eggs with a side of biscuits and gravy, and it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was exceptional. I was seated promptly at the cozy counter, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. This place is a hidden gem right off the highway, and I can't wait to come back!"

I don't know. I've never eaten here. We came on a Sunday. Sat down, got our coffee and shortly after we were told kitchen was not working. I understand it's an old building. But we were very disappointed because we've heard good things about this place and it's been on our list for a while. Quite an inconvenience since we came from the west valley. But we're definitely gonna give them another chance. PS. The servers were so sweet. They were very apologetic. We were just bummed. That's all.
