Hands down a superior sushi house! This is what Santa Clarita has been missing. For the true-blue sushi enthusiast, minus the sriracha mayo overload , imitation crab filled, trough-style eating, and TVs on, HOT MESS that's happening all over this valley. High quality and elegant, beautiful and clean flavors.

Came on a Friday night with my husband for the first time and it has been difficult finding quality restaurants/food in SCV. Somewhere on their info page or website it shows they've only been open less than 6 months so there are some things I hope they consider. 1) Change the tables and the booth seating. The base of the table has this awkward 4 legged elevation which hurts when you hit your ankle against it. If you can make sure you never move your feet, you are fine. And the booth seats are so low to the table that's it's just ergonomically uncomfortable. Next time we'll sit at the bar. 2) Wait times are too long to receive your orders and each plate was brought out separately or in a pair but the time in between is too long. I finished my tea before the next plate arrived if this gives you an idea. 3) Steven's cut roll was overly salty. My husband had to return the plate because it was overbearing how much salt was added. The manager did return and apologize for the red sauce that was added to the roll and that it truly was salty. Besides that roll, we enjoyed the snow crab HR, negitoro HR, half baked roll, and the o-toro sushi which we will request to not add so much ponzu next time because it gets overwhelming. We would definitely give this restaurant another try because we understand how busy it was and we hope they are listening and reading comments from their customers to better improve our experience because we want the best for this place so we can continue coming here instead of DTLA. The staff are extremely friendly and we appreciate the manager acknowledging our concern and bringing us another HR. Customer service is what encourages us to return.

My husband and I have been looking for a good sushi spot in Santa Clarita and this has been one that has been highly recommended by a lot of people we know. We decided to give it and try and it definitely did not disappoint. We were greeted by the owner himself the moment we sat down. Such a nice guy.. gave us his recommendations and all were amazing! My favorite was the toro sashimi and also the edy roll. He also recommended a sake which I think was the best sake I ever tried ( sorry don't remember the name )... I highly recommend this business it will def become your new regular sushi spot! Owner is Johnny super nice guy... Btw bathrooms r so awesome ... It's a club in there lolll

I'd recommend this restaurant due to the freshness and quality of the food. We went in around 7:30pm for dinner and even though it was fairly busy we were seated immediately. It'd be nice if there were refills on drinks but they do not have a fountain. Maybe consider having freshly brewed iced tea on tap. 2 adults and a child = $100 (We had a lot of food so it's not crazy expensive)

We finally got the chance to dine here and I would like to say, this place is an absolute gem to have in Canyon Country. The atmosphere was fun, the service was impeccable, and the food was divine!! Definitely excited to go back!! Thank you to everyone who served us tonight! Chef Toro was awesome! Steven and Johnny.. we appreciate your hospitality. We have yet been formally introduced to Chef Eddy. Please excuse my spelling on the names. You won't be disappointed!

Is there anything better than decadent, fresh sushi with amazing customer service on top of it!? I've found that here at Hanasaki. Not only is the sushi soo delicious, but the presentation & plating is beyond what I've ever experienced at a sushi restaurant. My husband and I sat at the bar and watched how hard the chefs worked; they have PASSION in what they do and it shows!! The ambiance is vibrant, with the coolest bathrooms I've ever seen at a restaurant. Hanasaki Restaurant is a gift to sushi lovers and I hope they expand all across the valley! We will definitely make this a regular date night outing as often as we can, it's SO worth it!!

Excellent service and amazing fresh sushi. Second time here and definitely impressed with the quality of everything. Have tried a few different cut rolls from the Edy Me and Steven rolls, to the yellow mellow hand roll, the brown butter salmon, and toro on toast - all yummy. And don't forget the cheesecake! Superb *chefs kiss*

The sushi was good but pretty pricey. As far as the service it was bad. I ordered like 4 rolls and the waitress barely came to check me or ask to refill my drink. This place could get better ratings if their service improved. I noticed one of the waiters had family there, and he gave them a lot of attention. Yet my server could not come by to refill my water.

Excellent sushi, excellent service, and great atmosphere. Yes it is on the spendy side - but good sushi shouldn’t be cheap! I will happily continue to visit and enjoy every mouthful. So nice to finally have a decent restaurant in the area.

Hanasaki easily gets 5 stars. There's isn't another sushi spot of this caliber in SCV. The quality, presentation and service are outstanding and I can see why the place was half full within 15 minutes of opening on a Wednesday. The standouts were the Stephen Roll, Ora King Salmon Nigiri and their Yuzu Cheesecake. Everything was delicious and the flavors were spot on. I can't wait to come back again soon!
